Smartsound is a fantastic idea badly executed and delivered

Smartsound are the publishers of Sonic Fire, a program that enables you to create royalty-free music of custom length to accompany any project. They have thousands of pieces of music, across all genres. I love the program, I love the idea, and I've spent over $1000 dollars over the years with them.

One UNFORGIVABLE problem you may encounter, is the fact that Smartsound does not have EXCLUSIVE rights over the music they sell. If you use Smartsound to score a monetized youtube video, you may lose tens of thousands of dollars due to automated content ID matched video suspension AND receive strikes against your account.

Recently, I have encountered three additional MASSIVE problems:
1: If the company closed tomorrow, I would lose access to my entire music library and the program I need to access it.
2: The company appears to be run by a single guy whose priorities lay elsewhere. If your purchase doesn't work, he'll get round to it when he gets round to it, and in the meantime, any projects you needed your latest sound library for will just have to wait. In fairness, he's pretty good so long as your issues happen on a weekday.
3: The software apparently arbitrarily forgets your credentials, and when that happens, all of your music will be audibly watermarked until tech support is available. Tech support (and email reset) doesn't work at weekends, even if you have to.

To be clear, I LOVE this software. There's room for improvements, and they haven't updated it meaningfully in years, but it is more than usable in its current state.

But the issues above are absolutely inexcusable.
