Excellent product knowledge, customer care and service from a thoroughly helpful chap, I will tell all my friends and definitely return.

We are a group of 8 Village Halls, who 3 years ago decided we wished to show wide screen films with surround sound. We needed 3 fixed installations and 2 mobile sets of kit. SMC provided a detailed quote, installed the equipment and provided training for our volunteer Technicians. When minor problems have arisen, then these have always been treated as priority and resolved successfully.
A very professional organisation

From the moment you first make contact with SMC customer installation you are treated as a valued customer and given the benefit of all the staff's vast technical expertise.
Then throughout the quotation and following installation phases we were impressed with the constant contact and information regarding the project, and the end result surpassed our expectations!
If you want to install a state of the art audio visual package then i would strongly recommend that you talk to Duncan or Phil at SMC.

When we moved house the previous owner removed the electric cabinet and left us in a complete mess.
SMC were called in. They were approachable and professional. Their excellent engineer Ian came in fitted a new cabinet, Sonos system, resolved issues with the telephones, internet and TV signal. He did all this in a day - he left after 10pm.
We were most impressed with the service, happy with the price and would recommend to anyone.

Not being tech heads everything was broken down for us into simple terms by staff who are passionate about their products. The simplicity didn't stop there as the new system we purchased has transformed the look of our house, provided us with an amazing sound system and a whole new approach to music. Highly recommended

We commissioned SMC Custom Installations to re-fit our training room to provide a combined presentation and video conferencing facility.

I have recently purchased a home theatre package off SMC custom installation of Shrewsbury. The company provided excellent advice as well as providing me with an excellent deal I could not refuse. I searched the internet for a better deal. However, SMC quoted a price for a 50inch screen TV, Yamaha Aventage receiver and Monitor Audio 5.1 speakers that could not be bettered.

They provide a wide range of AV products ranging from the lower end of the market to top of the range high end products.

If you are considering purchasing audio or visual equipment I will not hesitate to recommend SMC. Also check out their demonstration room where you can hear the latest Dolby Atmos set up. The setup comprises a Yamaha RX-A3040 receiver and Monitor Audio Gold speakers with x 4 ceiling speakers. A top shop!

I would recommend SMC unreservedly. They planned and delivered a complete solution for our property including Sonos, Sky, internet and a really fabulous big screen media room. Philip, Ian, Duncan and Pete are all ridiculously knowledgeable, very flexible (to meet changing requirements), professional at all times and just jolly nice people with an enthusiasm for their products and service that is infectious. Two years later we continue to use them for all of our media requirements and would not consider going anywhere else.

I contacted Philip at SMC when I had an idea of what I wanted to do overall but had not yet decided on the equipment that would work best. At SMC's office they were able to demonstrate a mixture of AV equipment which really helped in ruling things out of the picture as much as narrowing down what was in. We agreed a kit list and the pricing was better than I could buy the pieces individually. I decided to do the cabling prep work myself and SMC helped spec up and check my layouts. The team then spent 2 days installing the surround sound speakers, projector, power screen and central remote control system all linked by structured cabling and wifi. They also integrated some of my existing AV equiupment into the mix. We are absolutely delighted with the finished product and after sales support from the team. Some people say that you will never use a cinema room - on the contrary, with such an elegant and easy to use system this has become our main room for viewing regular TV as well as films, downloads, streaming, screenshare, games etc.

My company have used SMC on a number of occasions for audio/visual installs. The fact that we have gone back to them a few times now says it all - they are knowledgeable, efficient and have consistently delivered quality results with their work.

From start to finish all the staff at SMC have been very helpful and professional.

My installation was quite a large and complicated one so i did expect a few teething problems.
These were sorted out as they cropped up and the after sale service has been exceptional

SMC Installations are a wonderful team of people who are efficient, friendly and honest. We had a home integrated entertainment system and cinema installed and this was done taking into account our budget and honest opinions about what would be appropriate and feasible were advised. The after care support with technical issues are also invaluable and rapid. I would advise anyone to use SMC installations for there home entertainment needs as the service provided is exemplary.

If you are interested in a cinema room this is the company for you. From first contact to final installation they cannot be bettered. Particular good for those like us who are not technically savvy as everything is carefully explained in laymans terms. Really pleased with the final installation and the after sales service has been second to none. These are guys who really know their trade and see first class service as a matter of routine.

We used SMC to provision an audio and visual, control4 installation in our house. The service was excellent and the advice they gave us in choosing the system that was right for us was very thorough. The actual work carried out, was to the highest standard and they bent over backwards to help us. I cannot recommend them highly enough. Our house automation is the envy of our friends!!!

These guys really know their stuff. I popped in "on spec" for a quick wander round on a Saturday afternoon and got chatting to one of the guys there. I was instantly impressed with their knowledgeable, friendly advice and the no-pressure atmosphere. I appreciate it's a different league of product, but it really makes a change from the likes of currys where some spotty teenager with zero interest in the product simply reads the side of the box to you.

I've since purchased several products from SMC, and I think they are slowly convincing me to bite the bullet on a proper theatre install!
