I ordered a month ago nothing received to this day. Please save ur money and time, apparently there’s Christmas backlogs halfway into January according to Steve 😂.

Excellent customer service. Engraving was missing from the order, responded to enquiry form immediately and helped resolve it very quickly.

It's so good, I ordered a second one!

Owned the 8mm one for several years now and its been faultless! Provides an amazing surface for baking breads and pizzas! Even used it on the hob to make smash burgers the other day, delicious!

Ordered a second 6mm one, 45cm x 40cm to maximise the baking/cooking real estate and get 4 loaves of bread going in the oven at the same time!

Customer service has also been great! Steve was prompt to answer any and all my questions, and even has held back the order whilst I am on holiday to ensure I'm in when its delivered!

Excellent product ! Recently purchased the pizza steel tray for my oven , I phoned the company to ask a couple of questions , Steve was very helpful and knowledgeable , advised me to get the larger one , at no extra cost !! Gem of a guy went above and beyond ! Pizzas are amazing

I pre ordered the 50/50 set for the Weber Go Everywhere BBQ, they emailed me once items were back in stock, I ordered straight away, and received within a few days with full tracking, haven't been able to use them yet, but extremely happy with my purchase and service.

I ordered a 4 square plancha. When it didnt arrive I phoned and spoke to Steve who explained reason for delay. He couldnt have been more helpful and threw in a heat deflector for free. I will be ordering a riser from him soon and asking for advice on how best to use it. This guy knows his stuff and I like to use small companies if I can. This is not mass produced stuff and the service is personal.

Good value pizza steels (I have 2 from them), but customer service can be lacking. They forgot to send the seasoning wax advertised with my steel, so I contacted them and they replied promising to send it, but it's been months and it never arrived.

I recently purchased two baking steels from Smokerig. I had a problem with the order on the website and sent a customer care request, and got excellent, extremely professional customer service very promptly on the weekend. Steve was very friendly and really went the extra mile to help me. The baking steels were also really high quality and I am extremely happy with my purchase.

I ordered a baking steel, received confirmation, then everything went silent, despite trying to contact the company. I have been waiting for about three weeks and heard/ received nothing. Definitely avoid this company!

The pizza steel did actually arrive in the end. It seems that the process is
1. order
2. receive order confirmation
3. radio silence for three weeks (even if you try to contact)
4. receive product

As long as you are aware of this, the company seem to deliver. But don't expect estimated shipping times to be accurate. Not a great customer experience, but product seems fine

Bought a pizza steel in Feb, had no confirmation or postage, and the website wouldn't let me log in to check status. The owner of the site didn't reply email text phone. I had to ask PayPal to refund me and that took over a month to process. The owner had the option to contact and explain but didn't. Don't waste your time here

I am extremely happy with my order. I ordered my pizza steel at the tail end of Friday and it arrived via tracked postage today, Wednesday. Definitely within a reasonable timeframe.
It is a handsome piece of steel and, after seasoning it as per instructions I have had a go and produced pizzas that are better than those done on a pizza stone. Not necessarily a "game-changer" but they cooked more quickly and tasted better. I really can't be bothered faffing with wood-chips and outdoor ovens so this steel in our electric oven should be really useful.
I had been looking for an affordable steel for a while and was a little worried after reading 1 or 2 negative reviews on here. I can't comment on them but I can say that my experience has been utterly positive. The impression that I have of Smokerig is that they have a passion for their products and expertise. Their website is informative and helpful instructions for use came with the steel. I am glad I bought from this company.

Ordered an item that was in stock, paid for "1-2 days" delivery. Nothing happened for a week or so, so I contacted them (using contact form). No response for another week, so I sent them an e-mail. No response for few more days, so sent them another one. No response yet to this day, so reported a fraud to my bank.

I bought a plancha for my son-in-law's birthday. Unfortunately it was damaged in transit resulting in a scratch. I contacted Smokerig and a replacement was delivered within 48 hours and the damaged plancha collected. Excellent communications and great customer service. Thank you

Bought a pizza steel, wrong size arrived. Phoned customer service, they had the correct size dispatched for next day and had the delivery service collect the wrong one at the same time. Exceptional customer service.

I was interested in buying a baking steel as I decided I would probably crack a pizza stone as they are more temperamental!!
I called Steve and he guided me into buying the right steel for my needs which was the rectangular 8ml thick type, not the most expensive but not the cheapest either!!
My cooker an Everhot heat storage type is perfect for this type of steel as the cooker in eco runs warm all the time keeping the steel ready for the next bake!
I have made pizzas several times and I can honestly say they are the best I have had (my husband agrees on this point)! My sourdough has risen the most EVER using the baking steel and far better than my dutch oven!!
I wouldn't hesitate to reccommend this baking steel to anyone and for anyone who grills I would recommend the 10ml thick plancha!

I am leaving this review with much anger and disappointment. I placed an order with this company for a pizza steel, delighted to have found both the perfect Christmas gift, and more importantly, a guarantee this product would arrive before Christmas. My tracking review had said the item was collected but delayed - although disappointed, I assumed this was to do with DHL, Covid and Christmas. However, IT WAS NOT! DHL has told me there was an empty container in the place of my product - they said it is possible that this sort of mistake can happen.

I am a reasonable person. I understand mistakes. This company seems to be a one-man band (Steve). Yet, his average response time to emails has been FIVE days, and typically after I have emailed him again for a follow-up. Although I have called multiple times, the phone has rung off the hook. When I eventually reached out to DHL myself (thought it would be quicker than this impossible email situation), I got through within the hour.

It has now been almost a FULL MONTH since the order and my poor partner has all but given up on his gift. Steve did offer an upgrade, which I thought was kind, but then didn't bother to follow up AGAIN for another FIVE days until I informed him I would be proceeding with a dispute.

I am feeling very disappointed, and wish I had seen a negative review of the company, hence, I am writing this to help others like me not get in this situation.
