Many thank to Marvin Alexander at Snappy Snaps Kilburn for 5* service. He noticed prints were cropped and reprinted, so, as customer I was delighted !

My family and I specifically travelled to the South Kensington branch because it is listed on the Netherlands Embassy website as a location familiar with Dutch visa photo requirements. We made it clear to the photographer that the photos were required for a Dutch visa application. We paid £24.99 per person, totaling of £74.97 for the three of us.
However, when we attended our visa appointment, the photos were rejected by the Embassy as they did not meet the Dutch visa specifications. We were informed that the ratio and sizing of the images were incorrect and too large for the required format. I have the rejection letter that I can provide.
As a result, we were forced to retake our photos at an appointed photo shop near the Embassy on the day of our appointment, incurring an additional cost of £75 to retake the photos. So at the end we spent £150 for this!
This caused unnecessary stress, inconvenience, and additional expense on what was already an important and time-sensitive appointment.
To add to our disappointment, I have submitted a complaint to via complaint form on their website but got no response.

At the Reading branch I was assisted by Duke - who was fantastic. Really helpful and polite, provided an excellent service. I would use Snappy Snaps again and this is all down to the service from Duke.

Very uncompassionate staff, been here twice both times my photos have come out completely black. I've never had this issue when I lived up north. They only offered a partial refund both times. I appreciate they had to pay for the chemicals and don't want to be out of pocket but when it happened the second time I was really looking for a full refund as a act of good will gesture. The second lot were my engament photos I was balling my eyes out in the shop and the staff were so unhelpful, they were rude and didn't offer any help or tissues, water or anything. The manager then calls me a few days later and backs up his colleagues and doesn't provide any further refund and the whole call just felt like a slap in the face. He told me the exact same thing I've already heard before such a waste of time. They clearly don't want to help. I have suggested that maybe some compassion training and I hope they take that suggestion onboard. They said something along the line of "that's what happens when you buy a cheap camera from Amazon" not word for word as I was too busy crying but that's not the way to speak to an upset customer. Will not be returning.

Passport photo quality is really poor, could have probably taken a better photo myself to be fair. I attended the Leeds store in Trinity and expected something better for £14.99. You get 4 passport photos which is a bit pricey but I thought it would be worth it to get a good quality passport. Unfortunately not. Would not be coming back here or recommend for passport photos. Can't speak of other service they render though.

Marcus and Saj are friendly and brilliant. They upscaled the quality of two image files for me and printed them in A1 poster size. They look magnificent - even better than I hoped. And what a lovely team. Really went the extra mile to get me the result I wanted.

I recently collected a photo from Snappy Snaps, Maidstone.
I needed photo of a photo that then needed enhancing. If the staff read this it was the Dolphin one. They did the absolute BEST job, it is amazing!
This is the second time they have excelled in their work providing exactly what l wanted and more.
Thank you.

The Victoria branch, and Themis in particular, were amazing. Excellent customer service. It's worth the money to have someone who cares about your job and will do it with the utmost care and attention. I will always use them in future and recommend to others. They've been in business over 20 years so much be doing something right.

SnappySnaps in Peckham charges £24 for two passport photos, which is outrageously overpriced. The average price for the same service in London is about £8, a third of what they charge. They try to justify this inflated price by offering “free” digital copies, but in my case, that promise turned out to be misleading.
I provided my email and reasonably expected the electronic copies to arrive. They never did. When I returned to ask about it, I was met with defensiveness and told that I should have come back sooner. There was no apology, no attempt to resolve the issue, and no compromise. It felt like a bait-and-switch, an incentive used to justify the price that they then failed to honor.
At that point, I had no choice but to accept that I had paid £24 for something I could have gotten elsewhere for far less and likely better.
As for the quality, despite presenting themselves as professionals, they seemed oddly out of touch with actual U.S. passport photo standards. I was repeatedly told not to smile at all, even though neutral expressions with a slight natural smile and no teeth are allowed. The result was a stiff, unpleasant photo that looks more like a mugshot than an ID.
To make matters worse, I was pressured to completely redo my hairstyle by pulling it into an unflattering chignon, despite explaining that my previous passport photo had been accepted with the exact hairstyle I arrived with. None of this was necessary.
Now I am stuck with a photo I genuinely dislike on an official document I will be using for the next 10 years.
Bottom line: overpriced, inflexible, and disappointing service.
My advice is simple. Go elsewhere!
The assistant (Marcus) that dealt with my enquiry was extremely polite and helpful, and resolved my problem quickly

Highly recommend Muswell Hill branch for photogifts but especially passport photos and renewal.
I just popped in for some photos not realising I could complete the whole renewal for my passport there. The staff were friendly and super efficient. My application was complete and ready to be sent off within 20 minutes and I received my new passport this morning, that's only 7 days turnaround. Super happy! Thankyou!

Visited Snappy Snaps on Hounslow High Street for passport photos and was disappointed with the customer service. The staff member was unprofessional, showed no basic courtesy, and communicated in a very dismissive manner. Due to her attitude, I did not feel comfortable asking for a retake. Considering the high price charged for just four photos, I expected a much better level of customer care. Management should provide proper customer service training.

We have used out local Snappy Snaps in St Albans a few times for various reasons such as Passport Photos, picture frames etc. The friendly service is excellent just like old service used to be decades ago.

I regret leaving a negative review, as the staff were undoubtedly very kind and polite. However, I felt that my lack of knowledge on the subject was taken advantage of, resulting in an excessive charge: £65 for a simple scan and minor side cropping of a standard photograph from the 1990s.
I acknowledge my own responsibility in accepting the price, partly due to time constraints and urgency, but in hindsight the cost appears clearly disproportionate to the service provided. After discussing this experience with friends and professionals in the field, this impression was only reinforced.
In addition, I was initially told that the finished product would be ready in the afternoon. When I asked whether it could be delivered earlier, I was informed that this would require an additional surcharge. Despite this, I received the email with the final product at 10:00 a.m., even though I had entered the shop at 9:30 a.m.
Overall, this experience left me feeling misled and overcharged. For these reasons, despite the friendliness of the staff, the shop has unfortunately lost a potential customer

Had a great experience at the Petersfield branch. Martin was incredibly helpful and went above and beyond to help us leave with something we were really happy with.

Polite and professional, both when I 'phoned to ask about the service and when the photo was taken. The picture was accepted by the Passport Office (unlike the attempts we had made at home!).

Very much Over priced.
I went into the store with my digital passport photograph to print. They charged £18 for 4 copies.
With another company it was £4 for 8 copies. Unfortunately I did not have luxury of time to wait for a delivery and had to pay £18 for 4 passport photos (print only).
It’s a shame, otherwise quite professional.

I was heavily disappointed in “Snappy Snaps!” In the UK. I entered expecting great customer service to come out with a different experience instead.
I asked for an agent to help print a return STICKY label for a parcel only for them to print a normal NON STICKY label. What happened after? Well the agent tried to gaslight me into making me believe that I never asked for a STICKY label print. I got charged again for another label which made me frustrated. I then got the STICKY label again to then find out later when I tried to send the parcel that it wasn’t even STICKY at all! I was swindled twice by this grifter! Unfair!!!
I could even hear some of the staff snickering and giggling quietly about it too before I exited the store. This was before I discovered the second label was a fraud. I should have known something was up.
I never had this experience with a high street shop before so it was strange. I should have done my due diligence and went somewhere else instead.
Thank you
