I purchased the Snow Joe 20 Volt cordless snow shovel with warranty and received it on February 4,2026. I used this one time the following week and the auger appeared to be striking the inside of the chute making noise. I contacted the company sent it back to them and then when I called them on February 16 about a refund it turned nasty. Since then, I filed a dispute with PayPal and I’ve sent them the receipt, the documentation, and also the documentation that it was received back at the company and signed for by them. So today here’s where we are. I get emails saying we’ll have to investigate this or we’ll have to come up with an appropriate solution, but you need to tell your bank to reverse the charge back. My response is I’m not doing any such thing. This is how it works. I’m the customer I paid $248.66. The item didn’t work out. It was shipped back to you promptly on February 16 and I have the proof to show it and you owe me my money. Before this I had two conversations with two different representatives that stated my refund should be back within three days. Hadn’t happened… who didn’t see that coming. It’s pretty cut and dry to me, but I can see where this is going. I don’t know what investigation or what appropriate solution that they want to find but it’s pretty simple as I stated, I guess we’re living in this age and time where individuals/companies just do what they want and they justify it. I’ll get my money back. It’s just going to be some big ordeal that it doesn’t have to be just my opinion. I wouldn’t buy anything from this company. I wouldn’t deal with them. I look at this way you either have integrity and you want to do the right thing or you don’t there’s no in between.
Update regarding Snow Joe. My refund was successful and I did get my full refund! I’ve read a lot of reviews from different companies and I guess it makes me sad to think that folks can’t get a refund or get their money back from a product no matter what was purchased or work that was improperly completed. As a side note: If you want any results the BBB is beneficial. Also, depending on where you live, the Attorney General’s office does offer Consumer Protection which investigates deceptive business practices, scams and fraud and protecting the public interest and you can file a complaint with them and they do follow through. Folks work too hard for their money and I can’t think of anybody that gives money away.

I reached out the week prior to the snow story hoping to get things in order. Never head back, then during the snow storm my machine broke. All your parts are sold out, and no replacement machines in stock. My mother and I both called. And got two different responses. One rep wanted us to ship the broken machine back, the other rep never mentioned shipping the machine back. She said it was not fixable when the auger blades are bent, which is also weird because they all come off, I just need new blades.. service was very poor. The machine itself is a beast, holds up great just had a rough winter and needs some parts that seem impossible to get for some reason. So I’m stuck,

I have purchased many tools from you and have been very happy with them. However, i purchased 2 powerwashers which both died after minimal use. Only used to powerwash my deck. Died midway thru second summer.

Representative did the best he could, but the inescapable problem is, you don't offer the parts that would repair the item. We needed a printed-circuit-board assembly (PCBA). We could affordably replace it with a dealer-cost of $40-50 and MSRP of $75-95 and 30 minutes of labor on our end. However, the customer had to be told, their $300 investment, made five years ago, was used a half-dozen times and is now junk.

Received damaged item and rep I tried to speak with didn't listen and was very hard to understand... got no resolve and trying other means to resolve

Experienced problem with electric shovel malfunction. Issue dealt with immediately and a satisfactory resolution.

Products have deteriorated. Customer service tries to help but entire process seems painfully and needlessly slow. I’ve lost faith in their warranties. I have several items from snow/Sun Joe over the years..probably would not purchase from them going forward. Hopefully there are drastic improvements made and I can update this review but seems unlikely.

I purchased a snow joe snowblower about 3-4 years ago. I live in cape cod MA. It hasn’t had a particularly snowing time during this time period, thus, I haven’t had to use it. Now with heavy snow this winter I go to use it and the battery needs replacement so I do that (120 on eBay) since the unit is discontinued and now the snowblower moves forward and back but the auger doesn’t engage….. I called the company and they said “ it is past warranty of 2 years” the company I bought it from (on sale) says they don’t service it and they can’t give me a receipt for any purchases before 2024. The manufacturer ( snow Joe) days Auburchon is no longer a certified seller of the snow blower and they would only “possibly” give me a credit if I have the receipt. Additionally can’t find any repair service in Cape Cod for this battery operated machine so apparently out of luck….. I would have given a zero rating if there was one….. no support from the seller or manufacturer 🥶🥶🥶

The thrower worked well in my initial use.
Strongly suggest, however, that the flow of snow can be regulated. Not unidirectional. My place do not have open wide spaces, hence, control of throw is necessary.

Snow Joe stopped working 4 weeks ago during snow storm. Spent past 4 weeks trying to get support… unit is under warranty. Filed a claim multiple plant with better business bureau and they were unable to get support

Two and a half years after purchasing 24v snow Joe snow blower motor died, out of warranty no repair or replacement available. I understand a new one is $400. Plus I don’t think so very disappointed.

I have owned the ION18SB snow blower for five years. The unit stopped working. I was informed, no service options were available to me. Very disappointed.

Could not help me with a part that I need for my snow Joe

I own a plug in snow blower. It works well but the blades on the plastic auger are getting chewed up. Ihave contacted customer service and they tell me you no longer make the 18" auger I wish to replace. If I can't replace the auger it will soon be useless. That makes it a throw away item. I will not do business with a company that makes a three year old item obsolete. Where is your environmental consciousness?
You have lost a customer. Maybe you don't care.

No replacement parts for Snow Joe.
My post below is unclear as to the rationale from Snow Joe: Snow Joe SJ627E cannot find a replacement auger pulley at a reasonable price.

Awful experience. The item I received was previously opened and tampered with. When I tried to assemble, the pieces did not fit. They guarantee a full refund which is not the truth. I emailed customer service to no avail and then called only to be kept on the phone for 45 minutes only to find out i would not receive a full refund. The customer has to pay for mailing label at $14.00 and shipping at $23.98. Awful business practice and horrendous customer experience.

This is a great company. They stand behind their product. This was my third pressure washer. I always have 2 at a time.
I had issues with one and they were on it. Always answered my emails and sent me a new unit. Couldn’t be happier with the product and the people behind it.
