Massive issues at Hotel Rebstock…

Massive issues at Hotel Rebstock (Meiringen). No cleaning, unsafe ski room, deceptive payment practices. SnowTrex is ignoring my emails for 14 days despite photos and proof. Very disappointed for a loyal customer.

Better be careful with booking for more than one person.

Be careful with booking for more than one family! We booked for two families and we had a massive problem with the communication because one of the family had to cancel their trip.
Despite the fact that my friend and his son could not participate in the trip, he was still the party leader and it was all associated with the return of money, making decisions about leaving, extra service at the resort, etc, all had to be accepted by him. Even though the entire trip was paid by my debit card, he still had to accept a refund for me. It was impossible to change the booking without him remaining in it. Be careful to reserve for more people because with any change, the party leader must remain the same, even if he is dead…Complete nonsense. When I asked why this is so, I was answered that it is a German company and they know that it should not be so, but Germans are like that. Well done. I’m leaving for a holiday with my family, my friend stays at home but he still needs to answer phone calls, replay on messages, emails etc. Why they can’t just cancel the whole booking for all, return the money on my account and start all over again? Remember, there was one payment done for 5 people from one debit card. You must ask them for an answer because I have non. 🤷‍♂️🤦🏼

Unfortunately, the lead traveller of a booking – which is our contract partner and responsible for all travellers – cannot be changed. Being the contact person for the booking, any important changes (for example, change of destination/apartment) must be made with the lead traveller's consent. Of course, we are happy to send all necessary travel documents to you as well, and since you are listed as travellers on the booking, our partners in the resort are able to redeem your vouchers. In these cases, we recommend bringing the booking confirmation with you, where all travellers are listed. We wish you a nice ski holiday, and are at your disposal for any further enquiries. SNOWTREX: COVID-19 related reimbursement

After many years of booking with Snowtrex, I have decided that this is the last ski vacation that I will book with them. Although I understand their situation, they need to understand the clients situation as well. I asked for a refund after the slopes were closed by the government, flights cancelled and borders closed and I got several replies with the amount that they will reimburse changing and reducing with each email and the reasons also changing with each email. This is a reflection of utter unprofessionalism that I have ever encountered. At least stick to one story and do not tell me with each email that you miscalculated. I would like to have my FULL refund. I am looking for impacted clients willing to do a "Massklage"
