I ordered about seventy quids worth of BG sockets and other fittings to top up my stock of bits while refurbishing my ex council rental property. I hadn't used Socket Centre before but prices seemed reasonable so I put in an order online. The delivery was received promptly, neatly packed, to the correct address. Sadly one item was missing, a BGE-847 architrave switch, £1-51. I contacted them by email twice with no response. To get the job finished I picked up a CED one from Txxlstation; much inferior.
Still, I guess very few of us are perfect.
Next time I'm in Ashford I'll go and bang on the door.....

Called them up to make sure the order would come on time, they promised it would come within the week, however still waiting for everything to arrive and its already been 2 weeks since placing the order. Called them up several times and they keep avoiding to give straight answers. Also They use DPD who is the worst for deliveries, DPD were trying to charge me extra to deliver the package within normal working hours!!! None of this was highlighted to me at the point of sale on their website. Very disappointed and costly delays.

Great website, quick delivery, horrible products. To be safe they block negative product reviews on their website.

I bought a few LED light Dimmer Switches and found that they are not compatible with Dimmable LED bulbs from any of the popular brands.

I contacted customer service When I had bulb blowouts and buzzing and flickering. I had spent over 50 pounds on bulbs trying four different brands and none worked. They said they can’t do anything if the products are not in original packaging.

The matching switches I bought, so called brushed stainless steel have a layer of transparent lacquer on them which easily peels off easily with human nails. So these great looking new switches will become scruffy in no time.

I ordered x2 double sockets (at a great price) at 11:15am on Friday and they were delivered free of charge within 24 hours!

I contact this company during Covid-19 where I was processing a VAT reclaim and felt I was missing some sales invoice - I had already called other companies and was finding out how difficult it was dealing with companies after they had my money. This was not the case with The Socket Centre, I was lucky that Claire answered the phone, she was delightful and most helpful. 5 stars to socket centre and to Claire - thank you

Despite covid19 case they answered my call, took my order and delivered it very quickly. They did not overcharge me for delivery as most of companies do. I do recommend them in 100%
