Lots of Viruses in software along with Softonic Bloatware they try to inject into anything you get off the site. Over the last 10 years Softonic has turned into a Untrusted site.
Softonic will reply "It has +60 anti-virus scanners and our security status indicator system will even warn you if the file you're downloading is suspicious in some manner." They mean if the download itself if acting suspicious like someone is following the download using it as a backdoor into you computer
if you file is "downloading is suspicious" So that would be Anti hacking Scanner Not Anti Virus. So please educate yourself,
