My good experience is only of the free…
My good experience is only of the free driver Epson Universal Print Driver 2.62 which I use in an old desktop with Windows XP, needed for an old professional Accounting software that I use for my personal bookkeeping. (A specific driver for my Epson printer can not be downloaded on my Win XP computer.) If I had read the Trustpilot reviews of Softpedia before thinking about downloading, I perhaps had not dared to do it before asking a clever person first... - I had some problems to get it functioning, eg must change from default computer port Lpt1 to USB virtual port and from default "Laser printer" to "Inkjet printer" in settings when installed.
Stay away!
Stay away!! As soon as I download FreeCommander, Windows Defender warns me of a lot of unwanted programs!

Softpedia is a scammer. I bought finalcut software last year. Today i accidently deleted this software and i need to reinstall it as the software I bought has no expiration, I found the download link in my email that they sent me last year, when click download, it said "this site cant be reach" !! Theres no contact information, so now I can't reach anyone for help, it looks like their website already shut !! real scammer, I'm trapped !! If anyone can still can contact them or has their contact info, please let me know. I need them to fix my issues. Many thanks
MY EXPERIENCE WAS GREAT
I needed some creative software.
I found Softpedia and tested it out.
The Software has been great, all working really well, and at a fantastic price.
That's my experience but I understand other people haven't had the same.
bought a key
bought a key, wouldnt work. eventually got back to me. instruction they gave still wouldnt work. gave up.
Scam company
This company use someone else's residential address as their own. They direct you to this address to pick up goods using a fake barcode. Do not purchase from them!!!!
June 22
June 22. I purchased an Office ID key for £10. Saw loads of bad reviews after so thought I had been duped. But I received an invoice in email, then received the office key (in my spam folder). Now rather than just install office and add the new key I meticulously followed the instructions in the email (as they made a point to follow). All worked out great and I now have a legit copy of office pro. Follow the instructions and you can't go wrong. Don't follow them then you just may get it wrong.
Complete con
Complete con. Ordered MS Office 2021 and received a email with key. But when tried to use it, Microsoft did not accept it as it had been used multiple times so was not valid. Complained to email and WhatsApp addresses and have not had reply.

I’ve put 1star but there should be a minus in front as it’s a scam. Logic Pro doesn’t work and can’t get in touch with these people at all. Wish I had checked first.
Alta HR… softpedia.com made it sync May 2022
I had an (brand new but old) Alta HR fitbit that was no longer supported by fitbit and I couldn't sync it. I came across softpedia.com in my research seeking to "jailbreak" a fitbit. The plastic connection point on the Inspire HR failed after 13 months of wearing. I suspect it to be engineered failure. I'm so thrilled softpedia.com made my Alta HR usable. Don't buy anything from fitbit that is all plastic.
Fraudulent company
Fraudulent company, total theft and no listed contacts seem to even exist.
AVOID like the plague.
Money for nothing.
Money for nothing.
You pay your money...and get nothing !
Not even a response from their " chat" line.
Google should exclude them from their site.
No qualified testers
Their reviewers often have nu clue about the software they test. They just brew some text from the software description without even understanding what it means, and they don't always actually test it.
its a fraud
its a fraud, nothing works. reclaim through bank credit card. change your ceditcard as well, adobe cst a fortune monthly, so £14 quid is ridiculous.
Didn’t read any the reviews first
Didn’t read any the reviews first, big mistake. Downloaded lightroom classic software would not install kept coming up with faulty install fill. Tried to contact them through email but no reply. Please don’t use them it’s a total waste of time and money
Don't bother with Softpedia - it's a useless bait and switch
This once useful site has turned into crap. It's become a bait and switch scam that forces users to download junk software. In my case, I wanted to download a Bluetooth Driver. I was forced to accept some useless PDF converter, long since superseded by other, embedded software. Having downloaded the unwanted software, I was provided no instructions to proceed with the Bluetooth driver download. When I returned and started over again, once more Softpedia wanted me to download the WAVE browser -whose description appeared more like a browser hijacker. I downloaded several additional files purporting to be the Bluetooth installer, which Win 10 was unable to open, (not compressed files). When I checked my downloads folder the "Realtek" installation file was the installation for the unwanted PDF. I understand the need to monetize these sites and have no objection to meeting their needs - but these guys at Softpedia got to thinking they were so clever - that they set out to monetize while providing no useful service to consumers. Don't bother clicking on Softpedia

I should have read the reviews
I should have read the reviews. I am yet another sucker to be robbed by this fake website. Advice to others intending to use Softpedia DO NOT. It is a BIG scam to rob you of your money.
Ordered and paid £14.99
Ordered and paid £14.99. I have tried phoning, leaving messages, email but always failure to deliver notice. I clicked on their link plus copied over their email address but no success getting in touch to get my money back! Really upset as I don’t have a lot of money.
