Never Delivered, Added Import Costs

I ordered 4 solar airconditioners from Solar Brother, and got the email saying my order was confirmed, £3,064; and I expected to receive the order a few days after. Only to then be told by email that they had run out of stock and I would need to wait for them to ship them in; as I was not in a hurry I waited. Only for 3 months later for them to tell me the goods had arrived and I should talk to their shippers - who then sent a bill for almost £2,000! Understandably I was indignant and refused to pay import charges for a UK order which I had purchased on a UK website. This is simply misrepresentation and theft. I called my bank, and they initially reversed the charges but then charged me again for this after presumably Solar Brothers spun them a long yarn. Now they have taken their UK website offline, showing of course that this is not a proper business. I checked companies house, and Solar Brother appears to be a dissolved entity, and their other entity that they emailed me from Darwish Logistics is also a dissolved entity at Companies House. Stay well clear of these people or you are bound to lose your money!
