Solarsense changed our old technology inverters with new ones and their service and knowledge was excellent. The end result was very professional and the after market service, where they installed an emergency shut-down button for us was just as great.
The engineers were very knowledgeable, friendly and reported on their progress and next steps every afternoon.

Really happy with these guys, their installation team came on time, they were knowledgeable, well-presented and polite, and got the job done quickly and cleanly. Now I am generating lots of clean energy to power my hot tub for free! Highly recommend A+++
Additional: Your engineer came to fit bird proofing mesh and did a great job and now the pigeons are nesting on my neighbours roof instead! A+++

Our solar panels installation was done superbly - quiet, quick and very professional. We later had to have the roof retiled, so the panels had to be removed then sadly the roofers messed up the panels refit badly but Solarsense was extremely helpful and efficient sorting the restoration problems. We were very impressed and thankful.

I had issues with my solar and it kept shorting out so I paid for Solarsense to fault find, they did this and it was recommended that my inverter was dead. It then took 4 weeks for some contact (after numerous calls and emails)and their Director of Engineering convinced me that it was the board not the inverter and changing the board meant we could get a few more years out of the Inverter. I arranged for the board to be changed only to find not only was the inverter dead but it was under warranty and no one had told me so we could have got the board and inverter changed at the same time. I then waited another 4 weeks for the inverter to be changed which only lasted 30 minutes as they had given me someone else's inverter so they took it out and replaced it 3 weeks later. The whole process took 3.5 months and it cost me £400 of increased electric usage plus no feed in tariff. In the whole process they never told me when they were turning up they just arrived and luckily we were in, the company is a shambles and customer service is non existent. The solar market is extremely competitive so do yourself a favour and go elsewhere so you wont go through the pain I have. Reading other reviews it seems like my ordeal is not a one off.

Such a shame for a local company to act so badly.
We have a ground source heat pump with solar installed by solarsense at great expense. When a fault occurred we chased and chased with several promises of call backs that never happened. Finally I received a response that the next available slot to investigate the issue was in a months time at a cost of over £250 plus vat (just to turn up). Not once did they ask about the issue or even what had happened.
Instead I rang Kensa (the manufacturer) who worked with me to resolve it over the phone. They were great. Kensa stated they would expect more from their partner installers too.
Looking at the limited reviews I see that customer service is a real issue for this company.
Stay protected, stay warm and go elsewhere to a company that values you.

Installation was fine but aftercare appalling

I engaged SolarSense-UK to perform a service of my solar thermal panels, in October 2021.
The engineer was very polite, tidy, and completed the job - within thirty minutes - and charged £230 - not cheap.
The system did not function over the winter months, and on the first sunny few days in March 2022, the system flashed up with an error.
SolarSense did not initially return calls or emails, and I engaged a different engineer, who analysed the system and determined that during the service, the flow valve had been left closed. When I contacted SolarSense, they initially declined to help, stating that too much time had passed - but on reflection they sent the original engineer, who worked out the issue and rectified it on a complimentary basis.

Completely honourable and excellent.
