We visited Sorbillo based on a Timeout review. Very disappointed. Pizza was average but what really spoiled the experience was being charged €5.00 for looking at the menu. Yes. That’s right. They charge to look at the menu. When I questioned this the server became quite surly and then a couple more servers came over. It felt quite intimidating so I decided to pay and leave. They also, rather ironically, charged 12.5% service charge.
The upshot is we had better pizza elsewhere, at a better price and with service that I was happy to tip rather than being forced to pay a service charge.
