We entrusted our beloved ‘old oak’ family dining table which was looking a bit tired to Corey and team and they did a fantastic job - brilliant at giving advice on the best approach, great collection and delivery and we are absolutely delighted with the result - the resin and oils used make it look better than ever. I completely recommend this company - professional, knowledgeable and good value.

The team are great to work with and put a lot of effort into what turned out to be a gorgeous 3m x 1.5 live edge cedar table. Thank you for doing such good work and creating a wonderful centerpiece for our dining room!

OMG my live edge mirror is absolutely gorgeous and looks fab-u-lous in our lounge! The guys kindly allowed us to look around their workshop when we collected our mirror and we fell in love with their tables especially. Beautifully crafted - a real bespoke find amongst mass manufactured products that are on the market these days. Highly recommend ❤️

Superb French oak shelf with a live edge made to my specifications within a week. Easy to fit and it looks absolutely fantastic. If you are looking for something a bit special to display an item or just to create a feature, the Sallek French shelf will not disappoint you.

firstly the communication was superb, the best we have had from all the various joinery companies we engaged with. Many people don't do what what they say or promise which is a shame. S&S are a cut above the rest. Their finish was outstanding, better than we could have hoped for and imagined. the guys came and measured up, and within 3-4 weeks were scheduling the install date with us. we commissioned a few pieces including a 320cm bench which is the show piece now. it has transformed our playroom. the hallway pieces and shapes have really finished off the space and the reaction from our guests has been amazing. we then asked the guys to produce a mirror as an add on and that now has also been transformative. we loved working with S&S and hope to work with them again.

We couldn't be more pleased with the incredible table and benches made to order by Sorrell & Smith. From design to delivery, they guided us through the process of creating an heirloom quality dining table which will last generations. Impeccable quality and value.

We visited the Grand Designs exhibition to look at windows, conservatories and flooring. We left with some assorted knives, a Chesterfield sofa and (though we didn’t know it at the time) a truly unique, one of a kind, dining table!
I was filling in the paperwork for the sofa when my wife, who has the attention span of a goldfish, wandered across the aisle and met Corey and Sam. By the time I found her, it was already too late. Five minutes later, we had promised to measure up our dining room and visit the boys in their workshop and this is where our journey properly began.
Having something completely bespoke hand-made to your specification is more difficult that it might seem. Firstly there’s the wood; walnut, french oak, ash – they each needed careful consideration. It was Sam who suggested ‘pippy poplar with gold coloured resin’ and it turned out to be the perfect choice.
Sam is passionate and intensely proud about what he does and deservedly so. But even better, Corey is the great communicator. They found a huge slab of wood – Corey filmed it and sent the pictures for approval. He told us what size it could be and we amended it slightly – no problem. Then every couple of weeks during the production we had a video update showing each stage of the process.
The end result was that when they delivered it was exactly as we expected, no surprises.
We’ve had it for two weeks now and it is absolutely stunning. More like a work of art than a table. I am so impressed with their passion and their skill and I would recommend them wholeheartedly and without reservation.
