Bought this to replace my V6. Strong suction with three levels of power and easy to use by the on/off button. The pole/head fittings from my V6 also fit the V8 Cyclone, although the same heads come with the V8. The roller for smooth floors (e.g. concrete, wood, tile, etc) doesn't come with the V8 (I had it from the V6 so I didn't mind so much, as it fits the V8) There is a smaller roller head though. The charging mount (to install on the wall) for the V6 doesn't work with the V8 (the V8 doesn't slot into it) but a charging mount comes with the V8. I found it a little bit fiddly to align the power inlet (the bit that plugs into the machine to charge it) so that the V8 slots into the charging mount easily. Once this is set though, there is no need to change it again.
