Popped in to ableworld in woolston Southampton yesterday with my husband's charger for his mobility scooter, the plug had become loose and I was worried about using it , they reassured me that it wasn't dangerous , but the engineer Mark , taped and glued it for me ,making it much more secure , there was NO charge for this , so thank you Mark , all staff very friendly and knowledgeable, , thank you , they have the personal touch ,

So helpful. I was able to purchase equipment immediately to support my father’s discharge from hospital. Pricing seemed very fair and the help I received from Dean was exceptional - he even organised same day, free local delivery of the items purchased. Plenty of readily available stock and the staff seemed very knowledgeable and caring.

Today I spoke to a wonderful lady…
Today I spoke to a wonderful lady called Nicki in building control at Southampton City Council.
I am moving in 3 weeks and have just been informed I have to obtain building regulation certificates as you can imagine my stress level went through the roof.
I emailed SCC yesterday and Nicki called me today. Nicki was so helpful and professional, she listened and then within a few minutes Nicki had provided me with all the information I needed and relieved me of the stress I was going through.
Nicki is a real credit to SCC.
I would like to say a massive thank you to Nicki and hope she gets the recognition she so rightly deserves.
