SouthEast movers were brilliant. So quick and efficient, Chris and his team were friendly and hard working and made what can be a very stressful day much less stressful. Highly recommend.

So glad we used these guys to both pack everything the day before and move us from Woking to Littlehampton. On moving day, they arrived at 8am and had everything in the vans by 10.30 for our trip to the coast. At the other end, everything was unloaded and taken up 2 flights of stairs within 2 hours. Excellent service, great customer care, it certainly took the stress out of everything and would definitely recommend them.

We found South East Movers to be a truly fast class service - from the initial quote from Jamie, the discussions with Chris in the lead up to the day; through to the service delivered by Chris, Andy and Rocky on the day. Great experience with the team.

They manage to collect everything on Monday in my 4 bed house in Coventry and deliver it on Wednesday morning in Lyon in France.

Everything has been packed with carton, blankets - a lots of blankets and a few good straps
The results is simple : No Damage at all on any of my furniture.

if it was me, i would have used 3 vans, they did it with 2 and trust me - nothing could move in the vans.

I can only congratulate the team for their professionalism, their team spirit and how easy they made this move looks like.

Reassuring and friendly.
Southeast Movers were lovely. Both moving our stuff out from a second home in France and unloading at our London flat. Kind and calm but also quick. A very reassuring process. There were no quibbles or problems. They are very experienced at cross channel trips. And I would definitely recommend them to anyone needing any removal, international or domestic.

Chris and Craig were extremely helpful and patient in a difficult move - we were left to wait a couple of hours by the occupiers of my new property having issue leaving. My stuff was carefully placed in my new property and my appliances set up for me. If I ever move again I will definitely use South East Movers

South East Movers provided a great cost effective removal service and were one of only a few to have availability at relatively short notice. They were competitively priced, straightforward to deal with and on the day, Miles and Andy were very organised and diligent in their work. Really nice and friendly guys to work with.

The team were incredibly friendly and helpful and made the entire experience super smooth. All our requests were completed in full and no matter how long the entire move took the team carried on the hard work with a smile and no complaints! Would highly recommend and use them again. The quote was reasonably priced and provided a complete package for everything we needed in terms of removal, packing, moving and assembling furniture.

Superb service from SEM, on the third phase of our complex move between four properties and storage. Recommended to us by a local contact who was flooded with work around the Stamp Duty deadline, Chris and his team have been extraordinarily helpful, willing, communicative and friendly. Whilst there were challenging moments and concerns about getting in and out of storage in a timely manner, Chris (and Myles, particularly) were a calming influence in a sea of panic. We really need not have worried: everything we were told would get done was done, and we now have the fun of unpacking! Thanks guys, we are ever so grateful we were able to engage you in a stop-start job during the pandemic and that you have accommodated every single part of the fluid and complicated task we set you, with huge patience for two OAP customers and their family. The bonus is that the service was provided with great humour and having a laugh with your staff made the whole job so much more bearable. We would have no hesitation in recommending you in the future.

Southeastmovers did an excellent job when moving us from our 4 bedroom home. We were let down by another company and managed to secure some late availability. The packing service was thorough, not a thing was broken and everything carefully handled. The team were friendly, professional, and knew what they were doing. Would thoroughly recommend them. Chris and his team moved us yesterday and were absolutely brilliant! Great communication right from the start, and they couldn’t do enough for us. Chris’ team packed for us on the day before the move and achieved in a few hours what would have taken us weeks. Moving day had its challenges but no problem was too big or too small to be overcome, and we are now successfully in our new home. The team were super friendly, polite, and eager to do their best for us - they worked incredibly hard and we also had many laughs along the way. Excellent work and would highly recommend!

From the first contact we have had great service.
At a time when many removal companies are doing video tours to produce an estimate South East Movers went out of their way to make a home visit on Saturday in a COVID safe way. As a result it was easy to engage with them. Their estimate arrived a day earlier than promised and was competitive. But it was their attitude and manner which persuaded us to choose a small fledgling company.
On the day of packing they arrived on time and started work efficiently and in a very considerate manner. The next day they arrived on time and finished loading efficiently.
Offloading again, was efficient, careful and cheerful. The team barely stopped from the moment they arrived to finishing.
Great service delivered with supreme efficiency and courtesy.

Chris was referred to us by a friend's company who couldn't do our move as it was booked at fairly short notice.

Southeast movers were excellent. They did absolutely everything they were asked with no quibbling or problems whatsoever. They made the effort to get our things to our new home exactly as we required. They missed nothing and worked so efficiently they managed to get everything into their vehicle in one trip when we all expected two. Nothing was damaged in any way and furniture was dismantled and put back together absolutley as we specified. Chris even went so far as to lend me his drill so i could attempt some initial curtain rail installation while he worked on other stuff.

All in all they provided a very friendly and considerate service which we would definitley recommend to anyone who asked.

We used Southeast Movers back in December and have had no end of issues, in fact we’re still waiting for our TV to appear more than 3 months later and have had nothing but excuses and rudeness when asking when we could expect it to be returned. Worryingly we were informed all TVs are stored unlabelled at Chris’ house rather than in the secure storage we paid for so you’re unlikely to be covered by insurance if anything does happen to get damaged in their care and there’s no guarantee your TV will even be returned given nothing is labelled.

In addition to this we’ve had poor communication throughout, Chris didn’t even show up on the day he arranged to come give us a quote, but nonetheless we wanted to support a small local business so gave the benefit of the doubt. On the day we moved out of our former house we were left waiting for hours due to a mix up at a previous booking resulting in us finally being packed up at 9pm at night, fortunately we weren’t due to exchange until a few days later else we’d have been in breach of contract. We had a similar situation when it came to moving into our new house, whereby we were told they’d be arriving at 2pm only to arrive several hours later.

Upon receiving our belongings we discovered a number of damaged items, including a box picture frame that had been packed on top of a circular saw and was unsurprisingly broken by the time it got to us. There was also a sizeable scratch in our fridge/freezer, as well as a box of paperwork containing all of our vehicle documentation that appears to have completely disappeared. For these reasons I absolutely wouldn’t recommend them to anyone.

We have been incredibly patient in waiting to receive our TV as we’re conscious that Southeast Movers are a small business and that the pandemic makes things tricky. However, after being told several times it would be couriered to us only to then get countless excuses when asking for an update and to later be told we should have offered to collect it ourselves (despite being more than 3 hours away and in lockdown) and that rectifying the situation isn’t a priority for them, we’ve now been left with no choice but to seek legal action.

Moving home is, for me, a very stressful process but from the first point of contact to moving day I was made to feel like their only customer! Chris immediately made me feel at ease and nothing seemed too much trouble. The team were incredibly efficient, took so much care with my house move and everything ended up where it needed! I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them to all my family and friends and will definitely be using them the next time I move.

Brilliant service, brilliant people, brilliant price. Talk about taking the stress out of the move, can not recommend this company and the staff enough! 5 stars all day long.
