‘1000s of satisfied customers’. I’m not one of them!
I contacted SWV earlier today to express my dissatisfaction with their system and service. In a nutshell...If you are told that this company can help with your humidity issue, do some research. I am wary of organisations that only offer testimonials, not honest reviews, on their website. It’s not exactly balanced is it? I bought this system in good faith to help with a humidity issue as we live in a reverse level house, part of which is built into a hill. It was installed in 2017. It worked perfectly for a couple of months and has done nothing ever since. I have had 2 visits, have paid for a booster and STILL the humidity in the house is 76% and the ceiling and top of the walls are covered in dirt. I have been patronised and been made to feel like a whinging time waster. The system is on but does not do what SWV said it would. It was a complete waste of money. I have just put the heating on, weeks earlier than required and ordered a fourth dehumidifier in order to try and alleviate the situation. I am one very unhappy and dissatisfied customer.
SWV replied and, again in a nutshell, told me that they don’t claim it will reduce humidity, only condensation. Now, I may be a widowed pensioner but I do still have a brain and I am not stupid enough to spend a lot of money solving a condensation problem that I didn’t and don’t have! I feel that I have been sold something that it was never going to work. Still, buyer beware and I’ve learned my lesson. SWV may have thousands of satisfied customers but who knows how many dissatisfied ones there are?! My advice is to get a written statement about what the system will do to solve your problem and, more importantly, a written guarantee from the company that it will do what they tell you it will.

The comments made regarding liquid and paint are inaccurate. I did not expect the system to dry these things quicker. I just expected them to dry in a normal time. If humidity was controlled as indicated by your staff, it wouldn’t take several hours to dry a floor or several days to dry paint.
We have never changed the setting, SWV did.
I think you’ve missed the point. SWV led me to believe that the system would do something that it does not. Doubt there will be a reason to contact you or the manufacturer as it would be a further waste of time. However, we have a bathroom extractor fan under warranty too and, sadly for both of us, I will contact you if there are further problems with that; we have already had one repair recently. I assume your public refusal to have contact is aimed at implying, as I said above, that I am a whinging time waster. I would suggest, however, that it also indicates a company that doesn’t take it responsibilities seriously.
