Terrible management agent. Our building was just torn apart by a fibre company. They didn't even know it was happenning. No work order. No communication. Dust everywhere. Holes ripped in walls. Rather than questioning what was happenning, they just let the installation complete, shrugged it off, with ia it'll take too long to get a proper solution from the company. High turnover of staff. Always a new contact there.

As an overseas landlord I have been a customer of Space Lettings for over 15 years. Last year a burst pipe at my property caused considerably damage and loss of income. Thanks to the help of Jack Preece we were able to get through a very difficult period without having to incurr the cost of flying back to the UK. As a long standing customer I would thoroughly recommend Space Lettings.

Would highly recommend Space Lettings to anyone. We are first time renters and they’re so friendly, explained everything clearly and have great communication. Space Lettings have gone above and beyond with their emergency support when I locked myself out on a Saturday evening - special thank you to Jeremy!

About five years ago, we rented a place with them. They did a super thorough inventory when we moved in, and it really came in handy when the landlord tried some unreasonable requests at the end of our lease. We didn't really have to deal with them much during the rental period since we handled things directly with the landlord.

When it was time to move out, they were on top of it—quick and pro. We got our deposit back in about a month, which was a huge relief. It's a whole different story from another real estate agency we dealt with before, where it took a frustrating six months to see our deposit again.

All in all, we were really happy with how these guys handled things, and we'd definitely do business with them again in the future.

We rented a place that was not fit for rental, finding mice infestation and a dirty overall place.
WE had to make complaints for months with some items fixed but with many unattended. In the end of the contract, we were charged to make the place in better condition than we received it. Such as carpet cleaning, which we never had. The garden was a mess when we moved in and was in better conditions when we return it. But we were still charged for garden cleaning. Also for professional cleaning that we never had when we moved in!! Place is not professional. The manager for rental is totally unreasonable and will only be on the landlord side, because it is their repeat business..place is a ripoff...
REPEAT do not trust them!! DO not rent from them or do any business .. it will save you allot of aggravation.

Space have been managing our property in Melbourne for the past 5 years.
I am truly happy with their professional services and prompt support to ensure our property is well taken care.
They are also very efficient in getting new tenant to take over when the previous the tenancy expired. Thank you 👍👏

Worst ever estate agents in St Albans. They never had any intentions to return your deposit. They charge you for the items which were never in the property in the first place. Also they charge you for items like cleaning etc even if you have given them the property in very professionally clean.
Total scam in my point of view. They excatly know how to dodge the system and get your as much as out of your deposit.

I have used Space Lettings for 11 years to manage my property - I highly recommend them. They have provided me with a first class service and tenants. When I came to sell the property they quickly secured a buyer and were proactive in ensuring the sale went through smoothly. It has been a pleasure to work with Space over the last 11 years.

Space found a tenant for me very quickly during lockdown last year. Previously I had managed the property myself and always struggled to find a good tenant quickly. After some initial questions from my tenant, which were dealt with quickly and efficiently by Space, I haven't heard from him since. Hopefully he stays for many years, but if not I'm sure Space will have another tenant lined up to move in before long.

As along term landlord in St Alban's I have tried the services offered by other agents and have found myself returning to Space again and again. From my perspective they provide a no nonsense practical service that that they have managed to maintain during the pandemic. Well done!

My experience with Space Estates has been consistently first rate and I would not hesitate to recommend them. Space Estates managed to provide me with a short-list of excellent candidates (I appreciate it must be frustrating for people trying to find somewhere but this is due to the short supply of properties, not Space Estates) and they helped guide me in terms of how to best market my property and how to deal with a couple of tricky issues.

Not a pleasant experience at all.
Do enquire about their tenants’ selection criteria before you arrange a viewing. And do not buy into their palaver and comments such as “the landlord chose someone else”. In my case I knew from the moment I walked in that they have already chosen someone else on behalf of the landlord.

I've used Space on a few occasions over many years and have always found them to be very reliable however for my new tenancy this year their service and customer-focus was excellent.. they were professional and attentive and went the extra mile to do a good job.. as a long-term St Albans landlord I can speak from experience and they were very good

Worse experience ever. No value or understanding of a word Customer Services. Bad attitude, using lame excuses. Complete time wastage. Completely unprofessional and hanging up the phone - Disrespectful. Never again!!!!

A very incompetent company which has not one intelligent person among them. Ever since they’ve got no commission in rentals, they’re chancing their arm with the deposit. I’ve checked online and all the newspapers have picked up on this. It’s very easy to take them to court and get your deposit and more. If you’ve no qualifications then this is the job for you......

Dreadful, deplorable, useless inept estate agent and property managers who keep changing every year.

We all know that estate agents and people who work for them are low life, unqualified and uneducated scum of the earth, but these people are in a league of their own.

They’ve been asked by our senile director who has lost her marbles, to paint parking lines. They did half the job and bungled the rest.

As per the picture not only the paint is peeling off after 3 months but the bozos also got the boundaries wrong, effectively in breach of the property plans and lease. Totally illegal.
