Since Spare Rib Express ‘Leiden’ moved to Rijnsburg, there is no service and accuracy anymore. The order arrived an hour late and was incomplete. They don’t pick up phone and they don’t answer email. I paid for more than I received and there is no one who responds to contact attempts. I won’t order again. Con artists!
The deliverer told me to f*** off
I have been ordering ribs from this place in Utrecht since ten years ago. Clearly, I was always satisfied with the quality of the ribs and the service. But today, I had the worst service ever. The deliverer could not find my house, so he phoned me: "I can't find your house. I'm at this location", he said. When I tried to explain how to get to my house, he replied: "I told you that I can't find your house. Please come down and look for me". I told him that I was with my house outfit, that I lived on a fourth floor, and that he just had to follow the numbers to get to my building. Then he said: "I told you before that I can't find your house. I can leave your ribs here and you come down to get them". I got changed and went downstairs. When I found him (1.5 blocks away) and told him that he just had to walk along the street following the numbers he said that he didn't understand the hassle of coming down to pick up the ribs. I told him that I had paid €3.5 to get the delivery to my door, not to go down and look for it on the streets. Then he said: "but you got it, didn't you?". "Not at my door", I replied. Then he say: "bye, f*** you". A company whose employees insult its customers can't get too far. To me, this was the last time.

Ik bestel al tien jaar geleden ribben bij deze plek in Utrecht. Het is duidelijk dat ik altijd tevreden was met de kwaliteit van de ribben en de service. Maar vandaag had ik de slechtste service ooit. De bezorger kon mijn huis niet vinden, dus belde hij mij: "Ik kan uw huis niet vinden. Ik ben op deze positie", zei hij. Toen ik probeerde uit te leggen hoe ik bij mijn huis kon komen, antwoordde hij: "Ik heb je gezegd dat ik je huis niet kan vinden. Kom alsjeblieft naar beneden en zoek me." Ik vertelde hem dat ik bij mijn huiskostuum was, dat ik op de vierde verdieping woonde en dat hij gewoon de nummers moest volgen om bij mijn gebouw te komen. Toen zei hij: "Ik heb je al eerder verteld dat ik je huis niet kan vinden. Ik kan je ribben hier achterlaten en jij komt ze halen". Ik kleedde me om en ging naar beneden. Toen ik hem vond (1,5 blok verderop) en hem vertelde dat hij gewoon over straat moest lopen en de nummers moest volgen, zei hij dat hij het gedoe niet begreep om naar beneden te komen om de ribben op te halen. Ik vertelde hem dat ik € 3,5 had betaald om de bezorging bij mij aan de deur te krijgen, en niet om er op straat naar te gaan zoeken. Toen zei hij: "maar je snapt het toch?". "Niet aan mijn deur", zei ik. Dan zegt hij: "dag, f*** you". Een bedrijf waarvan de werknemers zijn klanten beledigen, kan niet ver komen. Voor mij was dit de laatste keer.

It arrived 20 mins late Luke warm and once again my work boot was more tender...no to mention like last time bring your own chilli sauce if you order sweet and spicy ...a container of milk is more spicy than this crap

Misleading picture of a "menu"
On the picture of a "menu" they show you 3 things and you get 2, the third you have to pay. So why you call it a menu then?
I don't like this way of "it is just a picture " misleading greedy businesses...

Bad experience
I don't often order out, so when I do i like to get something I can indulge in. I ordered spareribs from my local restaurant and they arrived dry. I rang and received a replacement. These were also dry. I rang to let them know and received a very sarcastic guy on the phone stating he had tested them before they left the restaurant! For the price of them I expected much better. My other local pizza place also have ribs on the menu and they are half the price and MUCH better. I wanted to splurge on a "good" place. I'm so disappointed. I will NEVER order there again. Worst experience.

Disgusting/arrogant staff and service
We used to order from them at least once a week. The second-to-last time, the quality was a bit lower, but the last time was particularly disappointing. The delivery person arrived at our home playing extremely loud techno music. That wasn't too bad, although I was worried it would wake up our baby. But aside from that, the burgers were completely burned, they forgot the tomato for the burger, and both the sauces for the burgers and the wings were missing. When I called, the person on the other end, rather arrogantly, just said, 'Noted, we're closed now. But if you order again, I'll send you a free burger.' It was 9 PM! Needless to say, we couldn’t get food anywhere else at that time. I had called about the issue at 8:50, and he simply replied, 'Sorry, we're closed now. We can’t help you.

5 Star Service and Food! Well done guys
Hi guys, we are from South Africa and we love spare ribs. We have been looking everywhere for quality ribs, we ordered ribs for two and were highly impressed with our order. The food arrived in less than 20min, it was still warm, the ribs fell off the bone and they even packed us an extra side dish.
Well done guys, we will refer you to all our other friends.

I ordered chicken burger
I ordered chicken burger. There was almost nothing inside. One little piece of pickle. Chicken was like from lidl and microwave heated. The sauce was inaide also horrible. I couldnt eat. I.go mc donalds now.Not worth for 15 euro. Never again!

I had an unfortunate experience with…
I recently had a highly disappointing experience with Spare Rib Express Goes. On 22nd July 2024, my nephew placed an online order for hot pork ribs and paid with his card. However, we received the classic ribs instead. To make matters worse, the delivery person asked my sister for cash payment, which she provided, unaware that the order had already been paid for. This resulted in us paying twice for the same order.
The quality of the food was also very poor. The ribs smelt bad and were inedible, and we still have them in our fridge as proof. When we tried to contact the restaurant to resolve the issue, the staff were unhelpful and dismissive.
This entire experience has caused unnecessary stress and inconvenience. Despite being a loyal customer, we received subpar service and inedible food. If this issue is not resolved promptly, we will escalate the matter to the Consumer Mediation Service, the Netherlands Authority for Consumers and Markets, and possibly seek legal advice.
I hope Spare Rib Express improves their service and food quality, but for now, I cannot recommend them based on this experience.

Amazing ribs, bad delivery

Delivery experience is bad, but at least the ribs were amazing. Definitely want to eat from there again.
Never came!!!
We ordered 2x spareribbs and some side orders, waited 2 hours then called them, got told that they just started so we cancelled as it was now 9 at night and was too late, the app said it would be 30 minutes to deliver. Never ordering from there again! Bad service.

Delicious, but small portions!
I’ve always enjoyed ordering the hot ribs menu, meat is so bloody tender and plenty of it, baked potato and the delicious coleslaw, yummy. This was a year ago, I’m now back and couldn’t wait to order, but to my BIG disappointment the portions are much smaller now you ONLY get one supplement as to the two before for the same price, no wet napkin, no mint not the festive meal it use to be. Very disappointed I’m afraid i will order from king spareribs from now on.

This was the worst burger I've ever had.
Order #5X2NNS in Arnhem on the 12 of June 2022: Cheese burger menu: This was the worst burger I've ever had. The bread was dry, they put on some leftover salad on it which made half of the bread soggy, like who on earth puts shredded carrot salad on burger?? It also arrived cold, the meat was over cooked and charred. I'm sorry but this was terrible. I could not even finish it and I was high on that momment. Usually I'm easy to please with food but this one was an offensively bad burger and I don't think I got absolutely no value for my money

The first and second time when I ordered spare ribs they were very tasty and soft. Although the third time I got spare ribs that were hard as a stone, not much sauce and hard to eat. Not ordering again from there.

2 hours to late missing a lot stuff from the order, when se bringing the last stuff also then missing products and on a order from 72.50 i can get a discount on my next order for 10% really bad!!!!
