I would highly recommend Sp Movers From start to finish They made what should have been a very stressful time very pleasant
The guys were absolutely lovely and reassuring Respectful of flooring and all our stuff including our garden stuff on a horrible wet day A great big thank you to office staff for their patience with dates and the guys on the day who were fantastic Simon Steven Dan Alfie and Kyle

An excellent service from quote, packing, moving and collection of the boxes after we'd unpacked. By keeping them informed, Specialised Movers were able to accommodate the move despite completion date being confirmed at relatively short notice. Everything, including a lot of glass, was carefully packed and nothing broke in transit. Thank you.

The actual move itself was OK, the lads who did the moving worked very hard, on a very hot day, I cannot fault them.

However, do not purchase the Move Protect enhanced liability insurance as it is a con and just another way to get more money out of the customer.

We had a TV unit that was badly damaged; the unit cost around £400. We made a claim for the damage and was offered £75 minus a £50 admin fee (which isn't stated in the terms and conditions)

Communication becomes extremely slow when you make a claim, quite a different experience when something goes wrong compared to when they come round to do the initial quote.

Very disappointing and I would certainly not recommend Specialised Movers to anyone.

Our move did not go smoothly on the day at all due to issues with buyers buyer. Hence our move into our new property was 2day delay. Sean and his team eased the stress and helped us keep calm in a very upsetting situation. They took charge and put everything into storage reassuring us that it wasn’t a problem and rearranged the delivery of our items once we finally got into our property. They assisted with our jacuzzi keeping it in storage till we were ready for it and even helped us getting into the garden which was not an easy task. I cannot recommend this company enough . Sean and the lads were pure gems and they certainly go above and beyond. Thank you . Andy & Tracey

Specialised Movers moved me out into storage and then into my onward home, they were very efficient, careful and friendly. Both moves were very smooth and I would highly recommend them.

An utterly excellent experience with Specialised Movers. When my parents sold the house where they’d been living for 52 years, I asked Specialised Movers to clear the house, do a top to bottom clean of the empty property for the new buyers and transport some of our belongings to another city. John’s quotes for all these services were very competitive and good value. Not only did his team empty the house meticulously but Kerry and her team did the most fantastic clean including the most stunning floor polishing we had not even requested, included in the price. The objects to be transported were wrapped perfectly, no damage and the whole move was impeccable in terms of efficiency, professionalism and value. On top of it John kept his sense of humour when the basement flooded temporarily because of the rain and still kept his word about moving the stuff out of it. I cannot recommend John and his moving and cleaning team highly enough, thank you.

We received top-class service from Specialised Movers. They packed and moved the contents of our large Victorian semi with no breakages or losses. Despite the rain, they did a clean job. Throughout the process, from the initial estimate to picking up the empty boxes when we had finished unpacking, we enjoyed very good communication, received accurate information and prompt service.

What more do you need. Quick, cheap and reliable. Boom!

The team who helped us move were so friendly, polite and professional, not to mention hard working, they were all an absolute credit to the company, I’ll definitely recommend you to friends and family in the future.

I was so stressed moving home as a single parent and was dreading moving, but as soon as they arrived they took everything out of my hands and allowed me to relax for the first time in weeks. Such a lovely team of lads, nothing was too much trouble and they went above and beyond.

When it comes to moving your home you want it to be done seamlessly, smoothly and perfectly and that is what Specialised Movers did for me. I could not recommend them highly enough! From first contact with John doing a video survey then a very competitive quotation, through to the Admin Team and finally Sean, Steve and Ash in the van on the day all were great in every respect. These people are a credit to their company. Moving dates can be a challenge and Specialist Movers were accommodating in altering the dates a couple of times and then me only confirming the actual date a few days in advance. Absolutely brilliant from start to finish. Job well done so THANK YOU very much!

This is the kind of review I don’t want to write but I feel so disappointed that I need to write it. We have used this service before and they were great. We used them recently to move home in December 2023 and we are only now discovering the extent of the damage they have done to our furniture. We moved from quite a large home to a small bungalow where we are carrying out a huge renovation. Hence, all the furniture was stored in a garage space. As we are beginning to move the furniture into the parts of the home that are ready to live in we are discovering more and more furniture that has been damaged and is no longer fit for us to use. What is sad and frustrating is the fact that these items were placed in the garage/conservatory in such a way as to hide/obscure the damaged areas so that we didn’t know and therefore couldn’t highlight it to them. For instance, a wardrobe with a huge gouge in the door was placed strategically behind 2 other wardrobes. A book case with a panel broken off the bottom was placed around a corner where it wasn’t noticeable. More recently we found a broken piece of bed frame in the bottom of a wardrobe - we were told about the broken frame at the time but were told it was already damaged (obviously they couldn’t hide this one because we had beds put up straight away). I was sure it wasn’t broken but believed them that it was, now we have found the broken piece in the bottom of the damaged wardrobe. Other bits of furniture have scratches/chips and some painting frames have light damage, nothing too detrimental. I don’t know what’s more disappointing, the damage or the deceit? We wouldn’t use this company again and - 7 months in it’s too late to complain. Extremely disappointing.

Had specialised movers for our house move and internal storage and we couldn't recommend them enough. From their backroom staff who are polite and easy to deal with, to the guys helping us move on the day who were brilliant, down to earth and worked their packing magic with our belongings.
I have used the company several times now and would recommend them to anyone.

2nd time I have used them and they were great.

We had an excellent move with Specialised Movers. The entire team we dealt with, from getting an estimate, planning the move, and carrying it out were friendly, helpful and prompt. The move went smoothly and on time. The price was one of the most competitive from the various quotes we received as well. I highly recommend them!

I was given a great quote on the Thursday and we moved the following Tuesday with relatively no hassle. The Team provided worked so quickly and professionally whilst remaining very pleasant and calm through the day And their experience proved to be vital when getting in our 30 year old leather sofa… A task we would’ve never managed on our own.

We approached Specialised Movers to help us with our home move at the last minute, after a different company let us down. After speaking with them in the phone and explaining our situation Specialised Movers we're able to check dates and turnaround a quote in one day which let us book them only a week before moving.
On moving day we had the pleasure of Kyle, Dave and Blake who were funny, professional and extremely hard working.

Everthing was packed up on the van on time, expertly arranged and made safe. On unload the team were quick and diligent, making sure to put our stuff in the right rooms and taking care of our new home.

Great experience from start to finish. During the survey John was helpful explaining the process and what to expect. As we were moving closer to completion Eleanor was easy to keep in contact with to finalise the date.
Our 2 day move turned into 3 due to a hold up in our chain, Steve and Shaun were patient and understanding throughout making it all less stressful.
