I'm still trying to find a way to recover my password for both portal access and email and unable to reach a person in technical support. In the meantime my mobile keeps telling me to enter a password I don't have. This is very frustrating

Payment for our domain renewal was made in August 2025, and your portal indicates that it has been renewed. However, the WHOIS record still shows the domain as not renewed, and it remains inactive.
It has been over a week, and despite your representative Ryan’s assurance on 30 Oct 2025 that recovery would be completed within 24–48 hours, the issue remains unresolved.
This prolonged delay has seriously affected our business operations. We sincerely request that you escalate this matter immediately and ensure the domain is restored without further delay.

I seldom need to contact Speednames, but when do I I never have problems. I can't believe it's the same company that's being referred to in all the one star reviews...
Avoid this company at all costs. I have been trying to get support for 3 weeks - nothing but total silence on the un-answered, answer phone - and several emails such as support@ billing@ etc- with customer facing outage. TOTALLY UNRELIABLE COWBOYS.
Never, in all my 15 years in IT support, I have seen IT company that takes 2 weeks to reply to a priority 1 ticket (full outage of the service).
+ They NEVER pick up a phone. So for 2 weeks dozens of email accounts were dead (and a website), while you can't even call them.
+ non-intuitive and buggy web portal for DNS management. (Which somehow glitched out and caused NS server records to become broken).
Eventually DNS was migrated to another provider (without any help from Speednames - as they were silent) and this restored the service.
What a joke.
(I have heard that initially, during the customer's onboarding Speednames were helpful - hence likely the positive reviews you are seeing).
I've had my domain with Speednames since 2000.
I have had a problem with my domain since end of Feb 2022.
My email forwarding just stopped working.
They never did get it working.
Now I cannot even log into my account.
So, I don't know if I even have an account anymore.
There "Contact Us" form doesn't work so I have no idea how to even contact them to look into it one more time.
I guess it's time to let it go and see if I can get my domain moved to another registrar or just assume I'll never get it working again.
Awful customer service
Our company has been waiting to get a response from Speednames to change the 'owner' email address to a different one, and we are met with replies that take up to 72 hours. Should be a simple fix. We have a deadline that is overdue because of their slow response, despite constantly chasing. No phone number to contact. Have sent multiple emails this morning - please can someone respond.

I need to point to the correct name server. Speednames isn't reflecting the change and isn't responsive.
Why is there no immediate support? We are left struggling with our website being down. To make matters worse, we cannot receive emails!!!
We need to fix this NOW. Pls check your inbox (domainservices@and support@), subject "VERY VERY URGENT: You are not saving server name, website is down" and contact me ASAP!
The support form on the website doesn't help. There's a bug and we can never submit the form. And it takes 3-5 working days to get back? Websites and emails cannot be down for so long.

WORST SUPPORT EVER!!
I have been dealing with so many domain provider but this is truly the worst! I updated the nameservers and it updated only 1. I want to revert back to original and can't I keep trying and it stated set successfully. But it is not reflected. Now I have 1 name server as hostwus and 1 as siteground and my emails and website are all down!!!! Tried to write a support ticket but needs a login and I called the hotline but phone not working. Emailed but it's says 3-5 days. How can my email and website is down for 3-5 days. I thought that I've dealt with worst domain providers before but this is really the worse.
FYI I have launched more than 100 websites and never encounter such non existent support before.

I am trying to point a site to squarespace. All the fields have been entered correctly (I've done possibly a hundred of these previously) - nothing is propogating. As a backup I am unable to even do a temporary url forward - it just doesn't work.
Had to hunt for an email address and when I got the ticket was told to wait 3-5 business days. How can a domain hosting business with that level of non-service still be in business? I will be encouraging my client to abandon ship as quickly as possible but this is more than disappointing.

I had an issue with accessing my account to update my payment information (no email coming through for my forgotten password). I emailed support and Christopher triggered the email for me, and talked me through what I needed to do. Then my payment was taken twice - he responded and actioned a refund immediately

I hv, like many others perhaps, a problem remembering passwords. I get cross when one is given the option to change a p/w, goes ahead and changes it but then immediately tries to use e.g. to log in, and it fails!!
Speednames hv helped my access difficulties speedily. I’m back “in” and very happy. Thank you
