Be very cautious when reading the positive reviews here. Most of them are from people who have just received their car. At that stage, you’re encouraged (almost pressured) to leave feedback, and naturally the service feels good at the beginning. However, the experience changes significantly once you’re actually in the contract.
Initially, everything seems smooth and professional—but after you get the car, the level of service drops. Customer support is advertised as being available 24 hours, but in reality, when issues arise, especially serious ones, they become extremely difficult to reach. Emails go unanswered, and calls are not picked up when you need them most.
My main issue has been with incorrect mileage charges. I was told I exceeded a mileage threshold, including being charged despite driving almost half of what their system claimed during what they call 'Holiday pay period.' This is not a minor discrepancy; it raises serious concerns about the accuracy of their tracking and billing system.
When I raised this, instead of a clear resolution, I’ve had to chase responses and escalate the matter myself. There is a lack of accountability and transparency, especially when their system is challenged.
Overall, the experience feels like strong onboarding followed by poor ongoing support and questionable billing practices. I would not recommend unless you’re prepared to deal with these issues yourself.

I must warn everyone before you go with them. Initially, they will be incredibly polite and friendly, making me think, “Oh, these are very nice people.” However, after a year, I had to return the car. Again, there were no issues. During the offboarding process, they inspected the car, which returned without any new damage. I even saw him type this in.
48 days later, I woke up to find that Splend had attempted to charge my card £340 without any communication. It was completely unexpected. I had to call them and ask what was going on. Surprisingly, they found broken glass 48 days later. Thankfully, I had taken pictures of the damage even before I took the vehicle. I am grateful that all my money was in savings.
Having dealt with OTTOSCAM and WESCAM before, I was aware of their potential tactics. The one thing they missed was that I recorded every conversation, took pictures and videos, and recorded the offboarding meeting where the guy assured me there was no new damage. However, how scammy you need to be to charge the card without any communication is truly astonishing.
I want to offer some advice to all of you who are considering going with these scam artists. Record everything. Take pictures of everything, and block them from payment authorization as soon as you leave them. Trust me, it will save you a lot of trouble in the future.

Disregard this reply. I did e-mail them and guess what? Yep, nothing. No reply, absolute 0. Imagine if they charge your card 4 months later when you do not have any proofs anymore, what then? They charge your card and you will not get anything back. And they don't even reply. Be careful.
