The trial offer does not allow report download. You must manually save the screen information. Took 30 minutes of reading and digging on the website to find a way to cancel trial. The service itself seems to be satisfactory, but I could not fully evaluate it due to limitations of the trial membership. I would not use again due to their obvious intent to maintain a subscription membership and auto payments whether you want to or not. The most obnoxious website in this regard that I have encountered to date. Even now I am not confident that they would not continue to charge my credit card after I cancelled. I did not receive any email confirmation of the cancel. Fortunately, I use virtual card numbers so I just locked the use of the number.

Not An Honest Company
Not An Honest Company. I purchased a report from them and was told I would not be billed automatically for a membership. This was a lie. I was enrolled in automatic billing on my credit card for a membership and had to call customer service to cancel because the company makes it impossible to cancel on their web page. I was able to find everything I needed about the person I was trying to contact after years. I was able to cancel successfully and easily through the account options on the website . I tried other people searches and this one finds the most information and has the easiest cancellation policies.

I needed a single phone number of someone who sent a gift to my ill wife who subsequently died. They auto-enrolled me in their monthly subscription. I never needed their services again. Fortunately I was able to locate their 800 number to call and get the subscription cancelled.

Dear Sirs:
I was extremely disappointed in the search results from Spokeo. Your results were over 70% false. In every search category you had false and misleading information. You should state: This product is guaranteed to deliver false, misleading and inappropriate information. You have my old address in Reno, NV listed as my current address. You have my current address in Port Orange, FL ending in October this year. You have me living in both houses at the same time. You have me living in my office numerous times in Beltsville, MD. You have me living in Iowa for all of 1 day. Neither of these two last situations ever occurred. Every date for places I lived is inaccurate. You have me living in multiple states at same time that never occurred. You have 23 relatives that are not related to me. I don't even know who these people are or where they are living. Every email account is inaccurate, and you don't have the correct email. You have multiple incorrect telephone numbers. You have every work address incorrect. In fact, I have never worked or lived in these cities and states.
Our current house is in Port Orange, Florida which we bought in August 2023. We sold the house in Reno, Nevada in July 2023. Both transactions are in the public records in the county assessor office of Volusia County, Florida and Washoe County, Nevada. These transactions are also recorded by Zillow and Refin companies that track house sales. They get it correct why can't your software get it accurate.
What public records are you using? We would like to contact the organizations that are putting out all of these misleading and inaccurate public records. We would like these public records to be accurate and reflected in your search.
I would like a full refund as the majority of information is inaccurate and false.

What was advertised was a one time…
What was advertised was a one time reverse phone number search for about $1. In fine print somewhere on the website you have to opt out of the monthly contract after the one time search, otherwise they auto enroll you into a subscription. I didn't realize I had a subscription until I was bill $29.95 on my CC. I called Spokeo and they offered to refund $11 and cancel the subscription. The agent insisted that was all they could offer. After asking to talk to a supervisor they said they could refund the $29.95.
They have such a terrible business model as I'm sure I'm not the only one to accidentally sign up for a subscription I didn't want.

The initial service was good, but after the first usage, I was no longer able to log into my account. I could not receive emails from Spokeo, Therefore, I could not reset my password. Subsequently, not able to get the service I paid for. After calling Spokeo customer care, they refused to remedy the situation but instead sought to partially refund the subscription amount. And still after providing another email address I was unable to receive emails from Spokeo or log into my account. So, basically, they have not rendered the service advertised.
