Careful about subscribing

Careful about subscribing, last December i keep receiving emails that they have 4 months trial and i am eligible, then ofcourse i grab the opportunity but just end of January they already take money from my account, so i did email them they ask many proofs then send i to them end un they said they dont refund money offer me again for only 3 months free trial not 4 now but i said i wanted just to refund my money sadly they wont give it back now i cancel my subscription.. then they just let me use the month that i pay.. so be careful they will trick you and get your money like me.. not surprised when i check now reviews are so bad..

Worst Customer Service in the World

They are the worst Customer service I have experienced in literally the whole world. There is not a worse one then them. Just so you know, if you got scammed by them, just go to your bank and the Better Business Bureau, its not worth your time talking to these losers.

*!?$ Spotify. I used to make a little money off of Spotify - nothing crazy, like $100-200 a year. However, they decided to demonetize all music under a certain amount of streams in order to shovel more money to record labels. This doesn't really make a big difference in my life, but it is definitely wrong. Scum company run by a fascist bootlicker investing in military technology.

I've been a paying Spotify user for…

I've been a paying Spotify user for over 10 years and I have deleted my account due to the heinous things Spotify (especially CEO Daniel Ek) has been doing and will probably continue to do. They have been running ICE ads and investing money in an AI weaponry company, along with many other revolting things. The CEO is a poor excuse for a human and I will not be supporting a company like this. Be decent humans and stop being greedy pigs.

Money wrongly taken from my account

On 26th December 2025, I cancelled my 3 month trial and have the email to prove it. Since then, two amounts of £12.99 have been taken from my bank account. There’s no phone number to ring to speak to somebody. And my account was cancelled, I can’t email them as they don’t recognise my email account. Needless to say, nobody gets in touch. Any ideas please?

Spotify used to be great

Spotify used to be great, now it is just frustrating. All good free features now get locked behind “new” plans, and the app randomly breaks.

The audiobook push is the final insult. You’re already paying a subscription, then you get asked to buy a single audiobook for a stupid price. Don't you have enough money already? Why be so greedy? I don't undersand

I am fed up of being the milk cow of…

I am fed up of being the milk cow of Spotify. They are now increasing their family rate to $22. i just cancelled the subscription and am moving to Apple Music.
The stock price is overvalued even after six months of decline, which probably means that management is keen to get the price back up and keep shareholders happy - and their employees who are paid also in stocks.
My proposal: pay a good salary and limit stock distribution. And accept that when the stock price is unreasonably high, the job of management is not to squeeze their customers for the profit to catch up with insane forward P/E of 36. if you want more profit, invent a new product or expand your customer base instead of milking your customers

Give them a zero if I could!
I had a single plan with them, then upgraded to duo!
Didn't think more about it! Until I actually looked through my transactions in PayPal!
Spotify had been taking payments for both plans for 6 months!
I contacted customer service, they said due to policy, they can't refund the money taken! Absolutely disgusting!
They've taken money for a service I was not using anymore! Closed down account!
I will not use a service that basically steals money from you!
Appalling!

SPOTIFY INCAPABLE OF REAL SHUFFLE

Spotify scores a shameful 1 star solely because it is utterly incapable of providing even a vaguely satisfying shuffle capability. After more than 11 hours chatting its tragic idiotbot & interacting with distracted & disinterested humans, we are still only able to shuffle about 5% of our choice of artists. Spotify"s claims to three options in "shuffle" are both grossly misleading & woefully inadequate. Your only choice is the arduous & massively frustrating option of manually switching between your choices - and with 111 in our library, that is a monstrous failure. Such a pity!!

Honestly fellas and gal developers....I…

Honestly fellas and gal developers....I love this app! It's been nothing but perfectly formed and getting it was the best idea I've had since Pandora. I do have both and love my music when I work and study.. I've had so many follows on insta and throwing my library out to them is thee best thing I've done with the app. Super awesome that you guys have had the ideas to make those others apps for the artists and creators! It's fantastic that's you've done your homework on the app requirements from Google! Kudos to the team of developers who've worked so hard for the music industries artists and creators and especially the fans! Gimme some love and get me into the Spotify game please??

Switched to Audible today

I used to really enjoy spotify but now my audiobook that I want in the middle of my series is 27 dollars what is that about so now switched all my audiobooks to Audible. Will now find another source for music you guys should not have gotten so greedy. One more customer gone.

Bought a hoover from a company called Alestom and didn't receive the hoover. Then it came to my attention I realised that this company was on a shopping platform called Spotify who I have had bad dealings with before. That's when I realised that I had been had. This Spotify company obviously doesn't vet rogue company's. So I'll have to go to my bank to retrieve the money. SPOTIFY AND ALESTOM ARE NOT TRUSTWORTHY.. DO NOT BUY FROM THEM..

They just make you to use trial service…

They just make you to use trial service and when you forget to cancel they love to take money whether you use it or not. They charge 10.99 GBP for doing nothing. When contacted they reply by saying we wont refund, if you dont cancel its your problem not ours.
