I was concerned about putting toxic chemicals on my sweet Nellie, could see that it made her act weird for a day after I put on the drops, what was it doing to her physically. Our three dogs love these pills and take them as treats in the morning and evening before their meals. In the summer, we notice that mosquitos don't even land on them anymore. We haven't used chemical flea or tick treatments in years and the dogs have all been fine. I'm trying to use natural products for my dogs to repel fleas, ticks and mosquitoes. It's worked fairly well. I have 5 Cairn terriers and they go on daily walks and they go around areas that ticks live. After using them for several months, I found a nymph tick that latched on but didn't suck my dog's blood. One of my dogs likes the garlic taste but two don't. I have to put a smear of brunschwiger to get them to eat the broken tabs, which they happily eat. I use the garlic tabs year round because of how resilient ticks are to cold weather.
