Unfortunately we have to follow the guidelines given to us by the credit card company.
If we did not and the transaction was subsequently found to be fraudulent and we had not followed there advice then we would be fully liable for the loss.
I can understand you being unhappy about this but unfortunately there is a tremendous amount of fraud particularly in this industry.
