Very much a business first and school second.
While the school may have a good record academically, it is first and foremost a business. This became clear to me when my daughter experienced sustained bullying, the effects of which she hasn't fully recovered from a years later.
The school, in my opinion took the decision that three sets of fees trump one set of fees. This was borne out by the head of year claiming that this issue must have been with my daughter as three girls "can't all be at fault". In other words, this was a school that doesn't recognise that bullying is a pack activity, in-spite of all the documentary evidence provided from social media show exactly the sustained level of bullying dished out by three "young ladies"[sic].
Putting my daughter to this school is one of my biggest regrets. It was a truly awful experience.
