Eggnog chai has been a favorite since I worked for Starbucks in the early 2000"s. They finally bring it back on limited release and have the nerve to use powdered eggnog mix? Gross, cheap and tasted off. Do better!
Soggy Bread, Not Toast!
Every time I visit this particular SB branch I have to ask for more coffee in my diluted, watery drink. I only ever have a small black Americano but it's almost always watery and weak.
This time I had to ask for more coffee but I was also EXTREMELY annoyed and disappointed that the 'toastie' I had ordered was heated in the microwave, so it was basically soggy bread, not toast. I have photos!!
To be charged this much money (SB isn't cheap!) and to be given such substandard food is inexcusable.

I intended to buy two $10 gift card for stocking stuffers. I purchased at a supermarket, there were choices from $10 up to $50 or more. When I checked out, I just tapped mjy card and I saw I was charged $80! I immediately said that was not correct jnjd the cashier and her manger said it was too late and sent me to customer service. All I got was an apology and was told that this happens daily and thhat I will need to call Starbucks directly. They could not refund me. When I spoke to the Starbuckes represetaive, she could not help me either and tried to blame the store. The gift asr purposely misleading, (hey say $10 really large black sharpiie and x4 super tiny) THe ard shoud say $40 x4. I feel scammed by Starubucks and I know I ma not the only one.

If I could give them no star review I would. 1st day using your app and it was a complete disaster. I attempted to place an order and your system charged my card three separate times (on my kid's account), yet not a single order was actually processed.
Let me be absolutely clear: your Starbucks stores and employees are wonderful, top tier. However, your customer service based in India was the single worst customer "support" experience I’ve ever had.
Your support team at first denied the charges even existed. Then for nearly an hour, they implied it was fraud or my bank’s fault—only to finally admit they "found" the errors and charges were in fact made on their end. After all of that runaround and 2 plus hours on the phone, they arrogantly told me I have to wait 3–5 days for them to reverse THEIR mistake, with no apology, no responsibility, and according to them, no compensation because, "this issue didn't meet the standard".
I hope they eventually fall apart. I can make better coffee at home. Bring your app and customer "escalation" process (and team) up to the standards of your store employees, because right now? They are a bloated, apathetic, robotic, over confident embarrassment! By the way, your store at Rt 47 and Reed in Huntley, Illinois is AMAZING, a shining example of great service! The young lady that usually works drive-through in afternoon, (and currently in college) is an absolute angel, her people skills are unmatched. Maybe she should run your company!?

Stolen money, again and again
If I could rate lower, I would. I started noticing a few years ago that I would load money onto my Starbucks app, make a purchase that wouldn’t use the entire amount and the next time I would go to order, my app balance would be zero. It started happening every time that I would reload so I stopped. I am certain they got over $1000 before I was smart enough to stop preloading. Then, I received 3 Starbucks cards as gifts so I loaded them onto my app. Guess what? When I went to use them, zero balance. I finally got around to calling to have them look at my account. I reached a person with a really heavy accent who admitted that she was located “off shore” who told me that they only keep records for three months. I asked if I could speak to a supervisor. She told me that it would take a few minutes. When I asked where the supervisor was located she kept responding with, “I don’t have that information”. When I confronted her, she confirmed that they would also be “off shore”. Basically, Starbucks has stolen quite a significant amount of money from me and won’t be held accountable for it. Shame on me for allowing it to go so long. I am going to do my best to never patronize them again, although I love the bacon Gouda and a mango dragonfruit lemonade.

Starbucks needs more sugar-free, diabetic-friendly coffee drinks. We have such a fondness for Starbucks, but once you are over that hill, you can't have it anymore. Plain tea and plain coffee are a little boring and a little too easy to make at home to even bother with Starbucks.

Glasgow Buchanan Street store ….my husband witnessed a situation that’s left him and myself reeling. A member of staff seething through her teeth at two street people who apparently go to this shop for some hot soup and a sandwich or some bread. Her annoyance is that they come to the store “every day!”. These gentlemen spoke English and another language. They were friendly and inoffensive. They may be immigrants who, in accordance with legislation are unable to work to earn their living until they are given leave to remain in the UK. Whatever their situation, they are human beings who deserve to be treated with dignity. As a Scot, I am embarrassed and disgusted at the way this Starbucks employee treated these gentlemen. It was a cold wet day and they did no one any harm. Maybe that particular employee should lose her job and see what it feels like to be without income and in need of help, sustenance and the kindness of strangers.

Wanted a frappucino - it was SO SWEET I'm pretty sure half the cup was sugar. Also had a TERRIBLE after taste. Also bought a egg and bacon sandwich, the thing was tiny. Will never buy Starbucks again total rip off!!!!
