Nothing works
Nothing works. Software is useless, as far as I can tell. I want to get rid of it, but I can't uninstall it... and I can't delete it from my computer. It's just there, and has no intention of letting me send it away.

I can hardly express my disappointment.
The in-app editor is used for creating a Dream file. I create, and it works.
Then the b****y DeskScape app won't play the video because some codec is missing?!
It made the file itself!!
Talk about disappoint. It's like if I thought my dad would be offering me a new car for Christmas, only to find a dead pony in the garage.
I love for the most part Stardock's apps, though, an unsolicited requester popped up asking me to review Deskscape - and I decided to react on it.

Excellant product
Excellant product. Deskscape's wallpaper editing outpaces Windows 11's capabilities. Downloading Wallpaper from inside the software is convenient. And reasonably-priced.

Clearly, DeskScapes does not have included with it any 'malware'. This is what would be considered a 'false-positive' from whatever application you are employing for such things.

Does what it says on the tin
My review is for Stardock's Deskscapes app. It does what it says on the tin -- pretty low CPU usage, animated backgrounds. Lots of backgrounds included, plus you can download and add your own.

Wasn’t for me but customer service is great
After having compatibility issues on my system (I had a very strange setup, not their fault) with most of Object Desktop, I requested a refund. The refund completed within 2 hours with no questions asked.

I've been using it for about 2 months now on Windows 11. It's exactly everything I was wanting. I'm insanely happy with it. I liked the previous Windows 10 start menu, but the additional features like making the background 100% black was something I am so happy with. I just love it
