I was starting to network with actors as a filmmaker and they cancelled my account for no reason. Very disappointing.

I was about to sign up to this site, but I thought I should be savvy. Thank goodness I looked at Trustpilot, you have saved me a lot of money and disappointment.

Avoid this company. Rude, biased and blocked me after accusing me of something that was untrue. Unfortunately the same goes for Mandy and Backstage as they are all now linked. Very sneaky and underhand.

Untrustworthy, I asked for a refund for a service I had not requested, the operative asked for detailed transaction numbers dates and other difficult to atain info, as soon as i passed it to them they stopped replying.. Shocking scam

Having been on the site as a photographer for over 5 years I have come to realise that I haven't got one paying job through the site.

However, I did reach out to actors and models looking for updated headshots (free of charge) as a post-lockdown initiative and got swamped.

Not a valuable site for the working photographer, but might be ok for someone starting out.

Please don't trust this company, their policies are sneaky and not straightforward. They have certainly failed us and baswd on our experience, the chances of getting a job through them are minimal regardless of how amazing you are.

Awful I paid for 3 months of which I've cancelled after 1 and a half and they've taken $29.94 it was only suppose to be $5 something a month!!!!! really poor doesn't seem to have any real people on feels fake and full of bots AVOID!!

I was gaining authentic business connections through the platform
Then out of the blue they suspend my account without any information provided!
When I emailed them they said they wasn’t happy that for a position I put TBC for payment, knowing that on this platform you are able to message clients and have personal negotiations,
They suspended my account without notice whiles still taking payments!
Unprofessional!!

Where to start… I subscribed to the premium plan to have more chances to apply for gigs, being noticed, etc. The fact is, that I applied for few already and nothing at all, a person don’t even have the chance to talk with who is placing the advert, etc. To be honest been a waste of money and time, I do have experience, I am a video content creator on YouTube, I have experience in acting, I have personality but what a heck is this? It’s easier to go to the agencies then using this app itself, everything what I apply I have no chance at all besides one that it was a scholarship for AAFTA but on the among of 100 or so only one been selected and obviously the ones closer to where is based LA, just non sense . Ridiculous… paying for a service that doesn’t even work.

As per all other 1 star reviews I was charged a renewal without notification. Very unprofessional.

Don’t use them! Was charged for another 6 months. They don’t bother to remind you but charged you automatically. I emailed them right away to inform that I am not happy to use them as my 6 months with them was useless and it was just a waste of money. They don’t want to help and just ignored and took the money. This company is just one way thing so try to avoid it!

DONT USE THEM! Registered to have a look, NEVER SIGNED UP FOR MEMBERSHIP! Never! JUST REALISED J HAVE PAID nearly £15 A MONTH SINCE AUGUST! Didn’t find any emails or confirmations about membership as well. Bloody ridiculous

No notice on a renewed subscription. Asked for a refund. Was told no. Spoke to 3 different people. So unacceptable. Rude staff. Will be taking it further.

StarNow.com is a treasure trove of talent! Not only that, but it is global and it presents the talent in a very easy to understand way. The pictures capabilities on the site are ideal, you can see the talent's entire resume, and their social media links are also included. it is also an extremely interactive site and it seems like all of the members are quite active, on top of being high end. I could not recommend it more!!! :) StarNow.com is a star, in and of itself!!: )

SCAM like site, DO NOT SIGN UP!!!

I emailed them (as there is no phone contact anywhere) asking them to cancel my subscription, they did not respond and the payments keep coming out of my account! im still trying to get my subscription cancelled....

Bunch of scammers. Paid for the membership, the payment when through, but this scam claimed they didn't receive it. Customer service didn't help me at all. What they did was just asked me to send them digit of my bank card and photo of my id. (Fortunately didn't do it)
Worst experience ever. Never again.

StarNow has been nothing but amazing in the last seven years I’ve been using it.

I’ve won a presenting course, booked presenting jobs that have kick started my career, and currently host for an app as my full time job. I also got my first promo job with StarNow too which is my bread and butter! As well as cast my own short film using their service which went on to film festivals in America.

You get out what you put in and it takes a lot of time and dedication to get where you want to be but StarNow is a great place to start! Also I’m based in Manchester (not London) and have managed to find a lot of work via StarNow. My two full time income come from jobs off the back of companies I’ve met because of it!

Highly recommend, it’s so much cheaper than other casting websites and easier to use!

Actually they owe my daughter the cost for a photo shoot. We attended the interview and didn't receive a follow up appointment for a shoot and haven't heard back. I wouldn't use them again. Wouldn't recommend to anyone else either.

I initially went on StarNow Without paying however I quickly realised if you don’t subscribe you cannot access most features (the app is basically useless) so I looked and the options did not say anything about recurring payments the options were 1,3,6 and a year if I am correct. I decided to pay for the 1 month. And one month later I see they have taken money from my account AGAIN. I contacted them right that 2nd to get a refund (on the 30 day mark ) however they refused to refund me. you cannot even unsubscribe without contacting them which feels very scammy as you do not need to do the same for them to take your money don’t spend your money there they will keep taking money off of you and they will make it difficult to cancel. I will keep e-mailing to get my refund as it is sickening to do such a thingwhen everybodies pockets are thinnerbecause of covid.

I like this site very much. It sends you emails of the jobs best suited for you and you can choose to apply or not. There is a lot of helpful information and I got my first job within a couple of weeks of joining.
