Mitsubishi Outlander PHEV

A week ago, I purchased a Mitsubishi Outlander PHEV from Station Motor Company Ltd. I had contacted them the week before to reserve the car, and the communication throughout was excellent.

When I arrived on the agreed day, the vehicle was waiting for me in immaculate condition, spotless inside and out. The test drive went perfectly, and everything matched the description provided on AutoTrader and their website.

The customer service was outstanding, with Gary handling all the paperwork professionally and efficiently. I’m extremely happy with both my new car and the excellent experience I had with Station Motor Company Ltd.

I purchased a Honda HRV for £11,000…

I purchased a Honda HRV for £11,000 from Station Motor Company. Within two weeks, a professional diagnostic confirmed a major VTC failure and an oil leak (repair estimate £3,000).Despite exercising my legal 'Short-term right to reject' (Consumer Rights Act 2015), the dealer has refused a refund. I offered to have the car repaired at an authorised Honda dealership in Glasgow to ensure safety, but they refused and insisted I drive the unsafe, leaking vehicle 150 miles back to Newcastle.They promised a formal response by a set deadline during a recorded call, which they failed to provide. I have now been forced to report this matter to the FCA (FRN: 1031268), the Financial Ombudsman, and Trading Standards.Buying from here has been a nightmare. Be very careful if you are an out-of-town buyer, as they do not support you when things go wrong."
