DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS SCAM OF A…

DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS SCAM OF A COMPANY!!!
My elderly father has been targeted via mail shot and scammed by this company, and mark my word, I will be taking this further, already reported to Trading Standards.
He ordered what he thought to be an exceptional example of a Ferrari 250 GT Berlinetta model, at £149.99 you would expect exceptional quality.
What was received was laughable, it was in fact a Bburago branded child's toy car for ages 3 years plus, selling on Amazon for £21, go figure!
All of their model cars are being falsely advertised, you're not being given a correct representation of what you're going to receive, hence why Trading Standards will be stepping in.
Next up, they are also selling Russia's finest cheap copy of the Faberge eggs, it's absolutely awful and again at £149.99 you would expect real gold, real gemstones, hell no, you get Temu's finest at £9, also similar for sale on Amazon for £16, other stores are available!
Delve deeper into the company that owns Stauer and you will see that they have previously been in hot water.
Don't you worry, these bunch of crooks will not be getting away with selling less than £30 worth of products for £300, what a mark up!
Watchdog here I come.

Not a good company

Stauer advertised a watch in an email for £329.99. The advert also said that it had been reduced from the above price down to £79.99. I know, a brilliant discount right. However, when I went to purchase the watch, it transpired that it was only discounted by £66.00 I contacted them by phone, and they asked me to send them a copy of the email, and they would get back to me. I am still waiting. If it was a mistake on their part, I would at least like to know, but not having the decency to contact me back is not good practice.

Stauer Junk Mail kings - zero stars.

Actually zero stars.
Still receiving regular unsolicited postal mail from this company addressed to my late father who passed away in 2014.
Despite reaching out to the company asking them to stop these mails as I found it distressing, they have continued for around 10 years!
Their watches are mediocre quality for the price and the designs mostly a loose reimagining of mainstream brands.
Lack of any response from this company suggests they are best avoided.

I am one of the lucky one not to have…LUCKY ONE

I am one of the lucky one not to have gone through with the sale twice!!! . Firstly, it was Julie that took ages to close my sale and yet it was not finished! Luckly, no money was taken from my account.I rung up again to ask why and to place the order again but this it Elena . She was rude and did not know the code i was talking about and she 'Hung' up on me !!! This is why I am on the website to see why !! Glad i did and i will not be buying and i tell all my friends too !! Thank you to all those who wrote in complaining about this company !!

Thought about the Stauer Graves…

Thought about the Stauer Graves chronagraph automatic, 160quid sounds like a bargain. Then I read the reviews on here, think I'll give it a miss.
Considering the watch is advertised in what are more high end newspapers, one might think they are a reputable company, from the reviews here, none of which appear to warrant a reply, the opposite appears true.
I have reread the advert, no mention of where the movement comes from, from personal experience Chinese movements are hit and miss, the watch is good to 5atm barely good enough to go out in the rain, 10atm is the industry norm. Will not be parting with any if my pension any time soon.
See if a reply is forthcoming.

In February or before I asked Stauer UK…

In February or before I asked Stauer UK for information regarding the movement in their Graves automatic watch. They informed me, by E mail, that the movement is a swiss one. I purchased a Graves watch from EBay to find it has a Chinese movement. When asked about this they said I needed to take it up with EBay. They would not accept any responsibility. I will never buy a Stauer watch again from any source and in my opinion no one else should either.

Exceptional Service and Stunning Watch!

I recently purchased the Blue Stone Chronograph from Stauer and I must say I'm beyond impressed. Not only did the watch arrive in just one day, but its craftsmanship and elegance blew me away. Initially, I got one for my father and seeing how much he cherished it, I couldn't resist getting one for myself too. What's more, signing up for their newsletter was a great decision as they offer a generous 20% off every now and then. Truly a delightful shopping experience with Stauer!

Just don't

Just don't. It will break and no-one will mend it. I got one from my Father that he could not wear anymore and it broke. Stupidly, as I liked the look of it I bought my own to replace it. Again it broke. I took it to a local proper watch repairer and they looked at me in that funny way that professionals have and said ''If we take the back off that there will be bits flying all over the workshop''

Cheap Chinese Watches

Beware these watches are very cheap Chinese items..not 1 is even worth 5 quid. The company will send you broken watches or it will become faulty within weeks..when you send it for repair it takes 6 months to get back to you in the same state you sent it. Also beware they take money from you bank account and use sales tactics to sell rubbish schemes to the old and vulnerable.

Dreadful company.

I should have realised something was up once I hadn't received an order confirmation email.
The watch arrived in a broken box. I phoned customer services to be told they can't replace the box. On the second occasion they hung up on me.

I have emailed them with no response.

My husband opened his present today and said the quality of the watch is that of a market stall.

This company are scammers, selling cheap watches for a fortune and not providing any aftercare. Avoid.

they are sending me junk emails

they are sending me junk emails, claiming I opted in on their website. I had never heard of these people prior to being bombarded with this junk, and certainly haven't visited their website. I don't think I'll be buying a watch from them, they don't seem to be best friends with the truth.

Cheap Chinese watches

Cheap Chinese watches, do not pay more than a fiver for any of these cheap and nasty watches, the same watches cost a few quid from China, this cowboy outfit should stop trading shoddy goods.
They make the watches look luxurious - i received mine without any minute and hour hands- face was scratched what a joke of a watch.

Stauer Versailles "watch out"!

I bought the men's Versailles watch in January 2018 and it never kept very good time and if not worn everyday it would stop working. Typically, just out of warranty and the month and day buttons jammed in and soon after stopped working altogether. Customer services response to any"good will" was zero! I appreciate that the watch needs movement to charge the battery but I have a similar watch using the same technology and that keeps going for weeks not worn. The watch is heavy and bulky so be aware and if you're too active The adjusting buttons are easily depressed. I shall not be bothering to get it repaired and put the experience down to "you don't always get what you paid for" looks good ,performs poorly!

STAUER CHARGES FOR SERVICES THEY DO NOT PROVIDE

I placed an order with STAUER on Friday 18 August & was charged £7.99 for their "Standard 48 hour dispatch". Whilst I appreciate that not everyone works on a Saturday & Sunday I think I was reasonable to expect that the order would be delivered on Wednesday 23 August in order to comply with the "standard 48 hour dispatch" that I had paid for & which STAUER had contracted to do. However, the item did not arrive until the afternoon of Friday 25 August - hardly the "standard 48 hour dispatch" that I had paid for! I have contacted Stauer Customer Services three times by email (on 25 August, 30 August & 4 September) about the service they have charged for but did not provide - to date, I have not even had the courtesy of an acknowledgement of my query.

UPDATE 6TH OCTOBER: STAUER "CUSTOMER SERVICES" HAVE STILL NOT CONTACTED ME TO EXPLAIN WHY THEY CHARGED FOR A SERVICE WHICH THEY DID NOT PROVIDE. "STAUER CUSTOMER SERVICE?" STAUER CUSTOMER DIS-SERVICE MORE LIKE!

A TRULY AWFUL COMPANY WHOSE INTEREST IN THEIR CUSTOMERS STOPS ONCE THEY HAVE TAKEN YOUR PAYMENT.
