Dead rat found in pool. Poor customer service response.
We found a dead rat in the pool during our first night in Phoenix. We called Porter to resolve it. It took a day for them to have the pool disinfected. In the end they offered us $90 plus tax for our trouble despite that Marriott Homes and Villas. (who we booked through) recommended compensation of $448.50. We booked through Marriott because we wanted a certain level of customer service. In the end they sided with Porter. Porter's customer service is among the worst I've experienced as a frequent traveler.
