The program provided the exact help I needed. The Recover From screen can be a little confusing based on the drive identifiers but otherwise it was a piece of cake. I had an issue re-activating the software on a different PC, but Mayur from customer service patiently walked me through a troubleshooting and replacement process and I was once again able to rescue a workload. Strongly recommend.

The software is complex, not well documented, and slow. The 1st level support is ok 90% of the time and has been very helpful, but 2 level has been next to useless and since they run on India time it is next to impossible to contact them. Email communications are very poor and a lot of the time (in my case) most contact with them has been useless.

I received support from Priyabrata and Mayur (Thank you guys). I needed to restore what files I could from my HUMAX PVR 2TB hard drive which resided on the "ext3" Linux based partition. At first I was concerned that the hard drive scans showed nothing. I purchased and was using "Stellar Data Recovery Premium", but after reaching to Stellar Support I was promptly advised to use "Stellar Toolkit for Data Recovery" instead. Although this product cost more, it was the correct tool for the job. I was able to see the list of files to recover from. So far a few of the recovered files are corrupted, but this is be expected with a hard drive failure. I will if I can use file repair on those, but to just be able to restore some data back has made this worth while indeed. Although "Stellar Toolkit for Data Recovery" was the more costly product, I was promptly refunded for my initial purchase of "Stellar Data Recovery Premium" when I explained my position to the support team. Thank you Mayur, Priyabrata in support and Manish for the refund side of matters.

The customer service for today has been fantastic. Rohit Verma has been a very big help and we are still working on the issue. I hope to be speaking with him on monday. As for the product, so far it has been ok but not perfect and has given me many headaches. Please improve your functionality with older Raid systems the are not mapable when trying to recover lost partitions or files.
