The newly refurbished ships are pleasant places to sit. The lounge areas have good seats and plenty of options, the dining area, and the front beyond the dining area also offers a different perspective. The boat wasn't that crowded so we never felt swamped by fellow passengers. A shame they got rid of the cinema but understandable. Our only complaint is the ever-increasing prices - soon it will be cheaper for us to fly, which seems wrong. Not sure I trust their offers, whenever we search both with and without the relevant code the cost comes up the same (and high). It's luck of the draw where you are placed in the passport cues, but they are generally very slow and only once have we queued for less than an hour.

One of the first on board and found myself a nice seat beside a window. Put my 2 bags down and went to get a coffee and use the restroom. Upon returning about 5 minutes later a North African family with 3 children had moved my belongings and were sitting where I had put them. I kindly asked them to move but they rudely declined. One of the sons, about 12 years old said to me, "walla, old man, you was gone too long and anyway, it's easier for you to move as they are 5 and you are 1. ( there were about 50 other vacant seats they could have sat at). The father was physically touching me to move me away. Went to the reception and explained the situation. I was abruptly told I was in the wrong and should not have left my bags unattended. I said I just went for coffee and to the toilet. There are lockers for bags I was told. This is totally illogical. Travelling alone would mean every time I need to go to the bathroom etc I would have to gather all my belongings up, get a locker key, deposit my belongings only to return 3 minutes later, get my belongings, hand the key back in and upon return my seat would be gone then anyway.
Totally disrespectful of the family to touch/move my belongings and the reaction of the counter staff was to say the least, unbelievable.
