I purchased the OSIER S-STRIKE trainers from Stepney Workers Club back in March, keeping them aside for smart, occasional wear only. They’ve been worn no more than 20 times, always for light use, no heavy walking or bad weather.

Unfortunately, the entire heel structure has recently collapsed, leaving a sharp piece inside that makes them painful and uncomfortable to wear. This is extremely disappointing, especially for the price point and brand reputation.

It’s a real shame because they’re beautifully designed and very stylish, but the build quality just doesn’t hold up. Lovely trainers, but sadly very poor durability and not worth the cost.

I owned a pair of Stepney Workers Club Dellow S-Strike shoes, they lasted four months before the sole started to fall off at the sides and back.

I wore them about 3 times a week. They are heavy shoes to walk in. The way the sole is welded to the shoe makes them very inflexible, and this is inevitably where the shoe failed.

I contacted the company about the poor quality, they said it was most likely my fault because of the way I took my shoes off. I can confirm for all those concerned, I do unlace my shoes and take them off by hand.

I've owned many other brands of canvas shoes, and they all last much, much longer. So I can only go by comparison and say that these shoes are bad.
I can also see that this model of shoe now seems to have a stitched sole, mine does not. So I can only guess that they have adjusted the design to fix this problem.

It's a shame, the shoes actually look great, they are just built terribly and are not comfortable to wear.

Bought 3 pairs for husband - he loves

I have not seen a single pair that have not had the sides split after a few months. Absolutely dreadful waste of money. Loved them but will never buy them again. Other negative comments are exactly the same.

Design of these shoes is good, but that is it.

The quality is terrible. The soles are too heavy for the shoe. They have come away from the shoe after a mere few weeks of wearing.

Shards of plastic also keep breaking off from within the lining, and falling into the shoe.

- Already aware that size charts are completely unreliable, I contacted customer service before ordering.
- I specifically asked for the insole to measure 28 cm, as that’s the right length for me.
- Been reassured that the insole of size 41 was 28 cm.
- The package arrived, and the shoes were uncomfortable.
- I measured the insole—it was actually 26.5 cm.

Absolutely love this brand. Amiel S- Strikes are the best pair of trainers I own. I bought them in black / grey and loved them so much immediately got them in sand. Excellent quality, very durable, really comfy and always get loads of compliments on them.

I recently got a pair of the Dellow S-Strike and the Osier S-Strike shoes from Stepney Workers Club, and I’m obsessed! Both pairs are super comfortable and great quality! Also, their customer service was super helpful when I had questions about sizing. Honestly, these might be my new favorite shoes. Highly recommend!

After purchasing from the SWC website, there was a delivery issue, and my parcel couldn’t be found. I contacted their customer service department team, and they were able to resolve my problem and arrange re-delivery of my shoes without any fuss. Great service and love the shoes.

I have owned three pairs of their Dellow canvas shoes and they only lasted me three months top. Garbage quality and what a shameful way to produce shoes in this climate crisis and economy.

Purchased a pair of SWC sneakers from garmentory a while back. While very stylish and cool looking they lasted me less than two months. Thinking they’d be about as durable as vans and some other everyday sneaker brands I wore them a couple times a week and they fell apart in weeks. By the end the entire bottom part of the sole had split in half and the canvas was ripping at the stitch points. For what you’re paying the quality is abysmal.

WARNING FRAUD SCAM HOAX

As mentioned by other customers, be careful from which site you order or choose another brand to be sure.
I ordered from a fake site apparently that’s looked legit.
When receiving the package it contained sun glasses and not shoes.

Honestly I really wanted to like these because the style is cool but they're just wayyyy too heavy. They have this huge, dense, chunky rubber sole. They're sort of comfortable to wear if you're just standing around but as soon as you have to walk anywhere it's like having a heavy weight strapped to your foot. And much like everybody else says, the upper tears away from the sole.

If they released a version of these that were lighter and and the sole was stitched, they'd probably be the only shoes I'd wear.

ALL THE OTHERS ARE FAKE. I MADE AN ORDER OF A PAIR OF SNEAKERS FROM STEPHNEYWORKERSCLUB.COM.SE AND GOT A PAIR OF PLASTIC GLASSES AFTER FIVE WEEKS.

SCAM

I am a big sneakers fan that got a bit bored with the standard Nike ones so wanted to find some new ones. I came across the PEARL S-STRIKE SUEDE MIX sneakers and loved how they looked. I bought back in October the WHITE-EARTH ones and loved them even more after wearing them. I couldn’t resist and I also bought the BLACK-WHITE ones a few months later!

Please continue the PEARL S-STRIKE SUEDE MIX series!

A real disaster!

I ordered some sneakers a few weeks ago on stepneyworkersclubparis.com and there was a bug while paying. I never received any confirmation email (so I don't have any order number), so I even don't know if I will receive them in the future. I do see the amount taken from my bank account, tough.

I reached them out twice... no news so far.

What a shame.

My partner requested these shoes as a gift. After two months the sole started to tear away from the upper. He superglued it back and it peeled again.
Other shoes with thick sole edges like S.W.C shoes e.g. Nike AF1, Maison Mahara Yasuhiro Baker/Blakey, Adidas Sambas, are all stitched! Easy resolution for a poor quality good looking shoe.
