Worth the read if you are going to do business with them.

If you are considering doing business with this company this is worth the read. I have a 2021 Polaris North Star that I brought to them in the beginning of June 2023. I’d been having belt issues and I was very disappointed with the last time I brought my UTV to Steven’s in Midland, so I was looking for a new dealership. I called before I brought them my UTV to see how long it might be before they could get to it. They told me probably a week but 2 weeks at the most. I brought it to them and explained the issue. I also gave them a letter from Polaris, a recall for the foot pedal. I explained that I wanted to get the recall taken care of while it was in there. The girl told me know problem. They diagnosed the problem and gave me an estimate. The cost was $1,600. They told me it would be a few days for the parts and they should be able to get to it in about a week. I told them to proceed with the repairs. I reminded them about the foot pedal recall. Again, I was told no problem. THREE FRICKIN MONTHS LATER, I finally get a call that it is complete. Within that three months I kept calling periodically asking when it might be ready and was told every time that they were waiting on parts. Every time I would call I would also remind them about the foot pedal. One of the times, the service guy asked me to email him the Polaris recall letter which I promptly did. Every time I reminded them about the foot pedal they told me “no problem”.
Finally the last time I called I was told their girl, who was responsible for ordering parts, had been fired because she was lying to the customers telling them the parts were on backorder. Evidently the parts had been there all along. They finally fixed my UTV about 2 weeks later. When I got the call that it was ready, I reminded them again about the foot pedal recall. That’s when they told me we are not a Polaris dealer therefore we cannot fix the foot pedal. I was furious! Now I have to take it to another dealership to have that fixed. I would never had brought it to them if I had known.
When I arrived at the dealership, they brought out a bill for the work which was just over $2,600.00. I refused to pay. They ended up reducing it to $1,862 which at that point I paid because I just wanted to be done with these people and get my Ranger back. So to recap, they quoted me $1,600, kept my UTV for over 3 months and then charged me more than what they quoted me. And here is the kicker, because they stored my Ranger outside for 3 months in the hot summer sun, I had to get all new tires because they dry rotted. About a week after I brought the Ranger home, I started getting flats. Found all four tires were sun damaged.
I’ve had some really bad experiences with dealerships, but this was the absolute worst service I have ever experienced. I don’t expect them to be in business for long. Do yourself a favor and avoid this place like the plague.
