I don't get the bad reviews

I don't get the bad reviews, I've been using Stickypassword for years. I bought the lifetime deal and no complaints at all, gets the job done. Works on android too so wherever I go I'm covered.

Highly recommended.

I felt I needed to write this review as I've read some of the 1* and one by some American 3 months ago who said it doesn't save Names or Passwords, which makes me think it was fake, and reported as such. That's the whole premis of the product.

I bought into this product at Development stage and have never, I repeat. NEVER regretted it.

There has been some minor issue in the past, but most, if not all, have been resolved.

Someone commented that Sticky had put a link into their bank login, they are missing the point, they put a link into almost every form element of every site, that's the point, so you can auto fill the form, right! They are not accessing your bank account, your back will warn you of out of context access, wouldn't it.

This product is one of the best I've used, compared to RoboForm and Norton, it wins hands down.

Warns of repeated passwords and checks them on the Dark Web. No limit to profiles you can create in the Premium variant.

You can have both Online and App Accounts, which auto fill when the app opens, the comment by one that it takes longer for Sticky to input info than it would to do it by hand, I'd like to meet the person who can remember over a hundred different login profiles and enter a password like 7eQ]3XFn0:wuUA?0ugF^

I can't recommend Sticky Password too highly, it had made life so much easier.

not recommended for business use

I have been using quite a few password managers for business and this one is the worst, because:
- when the app starts the interface is blocked until it sync with cloud. Sometimes it may take very long time, like 30 secs or more, sometimes it needs to be killed via task manager
- It does not support OTP code generator - standard feature for password managers;
- does not support biometric login on macOS
- sharing function is not reliable. Sometimes when sharing request is received by a user, he still does not see the password in the app. This is especially frequent problem on Windows, requires app restart
- for some reason Mac client has different interface than Windows or iOS, namely password description on Mac is not editable
- the app does not allow to store two separate accounts with the same URL - extremely inconvenient and I see no logical reasons behind that
- search function often becomes glitchy: it returns results of previous search, not current
- no Notes filed (multi line) for password, you cannot add your own fields either, you only have single line Comment

Secure Password Manager with WiFi sync and option for 100% offline usage

I've been test driving this password manager out for a over a month now and feel I've found all of the useful settings and quirks. For me, it is a keeper. Password managers are a must-have tool in 2023 and beyond. This is my first experience for personal use, but it was either this or BitWarden. I decided to go for the lifetime subscription and I'm glad I did. Others have mentioned issues that have since been fixed, but it stores web and app usernames/passwords. It gets the job done.
It can be a bit clunky to link accounts from an Android device which has an app with the same login as a web account, but it can be done easily. I found it is just best to create the app account on your mobile device and then link it to the web account from your PC or main device. It does have a UI that is a bit dated, but this is only a minor inconvenience. I also recently found that your credit card information is stored under your identities, which I didn't realize before. That allows your payment information to be autofilled. There is a template to store this information as a secure memo. I still highly recommend Sticky Password Manager. If you are paranoid about having your passwords stored in the cloud, then this is a product you should take a good look at. We love the WiFi sync at our home. It works quickly. The emergency contact feature requires cloud sync, by the way. Overall, the software is not perfect so I give it 4 stars. You have your Dark Web monitoring and all the other things you'd like to see from this type of tool.
I use Keeper for work, so I can only compare it to that. Keeper has an excellent UI and tons of other features that Sticky Password Manager does not (like custom fields and secure/encrypted file storage and sharing), but no option for 100% offline usage. I realize that strong encryption should ease those type of concerns, but I love being able to operate 100% offline and not rely on the cloud to sync my passwords to all of my devices. This is very close to being a 5 star product, and it is brought to you by some of the folks behind AVG antivirus back in the early days.

I bought this to replace Lastpass

I bought this to replace Lastpass. I bought the premium level. It is totally worthless. It does absolutely nothing. It does not save any passwords or user names. Total waste of time and money. Their customer support is also worthless.

Terrible customer service, but I was refunded

I recently made the mistake of buying a lifetime license for Sticky Password after reading positive reviews. While I usually test software before purchasing it, in this case I didn't due to the cheap price and good reviews. Unfortunately I can't use it due to having an unsupported browser.

I contacted customer support and not only did it take four days to receive a reply, but their suggestion was useless. If they had bothered to properly read what I originally wrote, they would have known that I had already done what they suggested. I replied to them and now, five days later I still have no received a response.

If they are able to resolve my issue, then I will keep using it despite the terrible support, since it was cheap. If they can't, I want a refund.

I just saw the response and will add that they could help me by adding support for unsupported Chromium based browsers, or at the very least, actually reply to my support ticket. I've been waiting a week now for a reply.

I have now been refunded, which is a satisfactory outcome. But, I would have appreciated if customer service was more responsive.

Sticky served me well for years, but then...

For years I loved Sticky Password. I even purchased their life-time license. However, I've recently switched to a competitor because, sadly, they just weren't cutting it anymore.
I got Sticky Password because I wanted a way to sync my devices offline without having ANY of my information go to the cloud ever. Sticky was the only provider I could find that allowed me to sync my devices directly with each other over Wifi. While this works perfectly if you only have 2 devices, it breaks down very quickly as soon as you add a third. When you install Sticky Password on more than 2 devices, you can no longer trust the sync. Each sync happens successfully, but items you've added in one place start to be deleted in other places - the integrity of your data disappears. You'll add an account on one device, only to find a couple of days later after you've done a few more syncs that your new account has been removed from all devices. In an era when databases have been around for decades, and when we have cryptocurrencies that flawlessly manage a ledger of millions of transactions globally, it is unacceptable that a company can't reliably manage a sync of a small database between 3 devices. I confirmed that this is happening because not only did it happen to me, it happened to my partner as well. I contacted support about the issue and they told me it was known behavior; that 3 devices could not be expected to sync-reliably because the ultimate source of truth could not be known. When I pointed out that a simple time-stamp for each entry could decide which entry should be the truth, they back-pedaled and asked me to send them an exact scenario they could replicate. Unfortunately, I don't have time for that. It pains me, but it is easier for me to export my passwords and start using a new platform than it is to spend time trying to give them step-by-step instructions on how to replicate the issue.
Another extremely annoying change Sticky password made was to force me to send them my master password. Again, I chose them because I wanted none of my information in the cloud - and they changed their infrastructure so that I am forced to send their servers, arguably, the MOST important piece of information. I understand they will secure the transport and storage with the best possible security; but that's beside the point. I initially chose Sticky because that was their differentiator against competitors. They were a solution where, without having to run my own server, I could still get away with having multiple devices and ZERO information in cloud. Years ago, Sticky Password gave you two passwords. One password was to login to your online account in order to make payments, for example. The other password was the password to your vault. The password to your vault never ever had to go to the cloud if you were using Wifi sync. Then they said the 2 passwords were too confusing for most customers, so they combined both passwords into 1. For most people, that's probably okay, but for folks like me - the ultra-security conscious, they've lost me as a customer.
Other (lesser) issues I have with Sticky Password are below.
I LOVE the anti-spy keyboard. However, I'm often using my computers remotely or in a virtual machine. The anti-spy keyboard does not work over remote desktop or a virtual display console.
Support is responsive, but in my experience, they only assist quickly and easily with the simple tickets. With something more complex like the 3-device sync issue, there is reluctance to do the hard work that would be necessary to get to the bottom of the issue.
As far as I know, they don't have integration with Multi Factor Authentication in any way.
Overall, Sticky has lots to love about it, but they are also falling behind the competition, and have some flaws that have unfortunately become deal-breakers for me.

Great software for MacOS

Great software, Good overall experience thus far.

I don't usually write reviews on software, but had to share some updates as the reviews here aren't all the accurate based on the current version of the solution.

I have moved from LastPass over to Sticky Password and I am a Mac user. Yes, you have to log in, but you can set that in the browser. It would be nice as a future roadmap to have the Sticky Password to connect to biometric on mac, but honestly not that big of a deal.

The software allows you to connect quite well with MacOS and other solutions including iPhone and others. I really liked the fact that you can local sync your encrypted data as opposed to having to utilize a 3rd party cloud service, but I'll admit it has a few issues.

Overall, the solution is great and does what it is intended to do. I think that Mac updates will come to bring it in line with the PC version, but overall been a positive experience for me.

NO BIOMETRIC SUPPORT for Windows 10!

It offers no Windows Hello support on Desktop/Laptop.
I don’t want to type my really long master password again and again and again if it could be that easy and fast with Windows Hello. Have an really great working 19$ USB Fingerprint scanner for Desktop PC and Biometric Camera inside Laptop and never ever want to miss them again, not for Windows login and not for password Manager (with other more expensive program now because they’re free version has no sync between devices and some other always free program only work with Windows).
It was a game changer for me , even more than on smartphone.

3 stars because other things work good but I don’t want to type my long master password always manually. Never would use an easy password to protect all other passwords.
Means Biometric sensors, Key Cards.... are the only way and there it fails.

Sticky Password says what it does

Sticky Password says what it does, save your passwords securely, optionally in the cloud.

Other than that, the interface is outdated, its not the fastest, no support for linux, not even planned, mac support is not good.

But, it works so I keep using it anyway.

I bought their premium account

I bought their premium account, after that I felt that I had made a mistake and wasted of money.

1. Bad support for Mac users, trust me don't buy it if you are on MacOs.
2. Multiple monitors is an awful, not really work as expected, a lot of bugs.
3. Auto update will ask you restart many times, after restarted it will ask you again.
4. Premium can not even compared to Lastpass free.

Accesses Bank Account when Sticky Locked

Computer continually opened and accessed bank account automatically when Sticky was locked. Also attached sticky icon to bank log in details. Did this when there were no bank log in details in sticky password lists. No support available at all in trial period. No access to forums as confirmation mail not sent by sticky. It certainly got stuck. Running a mile from this. Had to completely uninstall software and clean registry to get rid of it. NOT amused.

Hi Cheryl, very sorry that you've had a bad experience.
Support is available for trial users, so I'm not sure why your email didn't reach us. I checked with the support team, and they checked our systems and we didn't find your name anywhere. If you do send us a note, please make sure it's to support@stickypassword.com (respond with a PM if there's something other than your name that we can keep an eye out for).
When Sticky Password is locked, it cannot populate and open accounts. It may be that your browser is still storing your email and password and logging you in automatically. If there was no data stored in Sticky Password this is probably what happened.
The colorful logos that appear in the login fields on a website are an indication that Sticky Password is ready to help - to save new data, or populate saved data. Clicking on the color logo presents options (data that can be filled, password generator, etc). When the logo is gray, it can only offer the login dialog for Sticky Password.
Sticky Password deletes registry entries during the uninstall, so it’s not clear what you mean by any additional registry cleaning.
