Stirling Cycles above and beyond

I don’t normally review however I feel that this one is deserving. 3 months ago I purchased a Cube Stereo Hybrid one44 Pro and from the minute I took delivery of it, I loved it. Fast forward 3 months with 450miles on the clock and it developed several weird creaking noises so I took it back to Stirling Cycles to have it checked. Without question they checked it over as part of the initial free service and found that ALL the rear spigot suspension bearings were dry with one completely seized. They quickly submitted a Cube warranty application and fought my case against their “wear item” policy to secure a warranty replacement. The bike was then fitted with a full new set of bearings only to find that the bikes dropper post was creaking away. They replaced this and now…… I have a super silent emtb easy for many more miles. You may say that this is a company simply complying with a new bike warranty issue and you’d be correct but it’s the manner and professionalism in which they did so which warrants this review. Dominik (Bike Mechanic) was simply awesome and the patience of a saint. He done all the work on my bike and nothing seemed a problem to him. He was super courteous, knowledgeable and explained everything to me in a way that I inderstood. Andy who owns the shop and sold me the bike was ever present and was the first to reassure me that the problems with the bike would be taken care of and that there was nothing for me to worry about. All in all, this was a reassuring experience where a local bike shop ( Stirling Cycles ) resolved issues which stemmed from the manufacturers (Cube) short comings to satisfy ME the customer and leaving me with the quality bike I expected from the start. I would have absolutely no hesitation in recommending Stirling Cycles and its staff to anybody looking / thinking of purchasing a new bicycle, you won’t be disappointed. This review is submitted purely on fact and my personal dealings as described above.
