The assessor came to quote for new…
The assessor came to quote for new fencing & posts. I heard nothing for over a month. I chased them up on 5 separate occasions of which they assured me they would look into the delay. This never happened & they never contacted me.
Having made contact recently they told me the quote must have got lost & I would need to book another visit.
Communication is disgraceful & an absolute shambles from stockport fencing.

Great company
We contacted Stockport Fencing after a recommendation from a friend. They came in as one of the cheapest quotes, and after reading previous reviews we decided to go with them, they gave a lead time of 4-6 weeks which was acceptable. However within a week we got a call to say they had free slot the next day which we snapped up. The work was completed promptly and to a high standard. I would definitely use them again.

Curran Fencing Stockport put new fencing at the rear of my garden, I live by myself because of security issues it was done quickly the lads were professional and considerate the cost was very reasonable will recommend them and use them again without hesitation.

I always use Stockport fencing for all my fence panels. I have also had a large set of gates made and fitted the guys who fitted them were professional and friendly and did a great job. I have had lots of compliments on the gates and people stopping to ask where I got them from. Delivered 9 heavy duty fence panels recently, ordered and delivered promptly, good price and well made. I would recommend Stockport Fencing 👍🏻

Good quality, but slow
Good quality, solid, “tongue & groove” gate that we had fitted at reasonable cost (given that it wasn’t a replacement). The wood came with a basic treatment which could have full preservative/colour at extra cost (but I painted myself). I paid for a lock and key, which was securely fitted.
Someone came to our house to measure the gate’s location and we visited the showroom to choose the exact style. Overall, I’m pleased with the gate and it’s installation; I would have given it top marks…
…However, it took over a year from ordering and we were close to cancelling. No communication from company during delay unless we chased. (Believe global shortage of timber caused delay.) Original quoted price honoured, which is good. It was easy to pay (after fitting) by card, bank transfer etc.
The company needs to be more proactive when there is a problem.
