saltfire big nut peanut
Been looking to purchase a log burner for sometime for myself . I have looked at stove fitters website many times being a builder and making fireplace openings for customers found it to be a great source of information .so when i wanted to purchase a burner for myself they were the first people i went to i spoke to julian over the phone to take his advice on the fire to suit my needs found him to have a wealth of experience and knowledge and so easy to speak to . i bought the fire and flue kit was told a delivery date on which it was delivered on said date . really pleased with the fire not used many times as yet to rate performance still bedding it in but i'm sure it will be everything i want from a log burner i would recommend you use stove fitters warehouse if you are looking to purchase a log burner .

The kit was complete and in good condition. I had queries about the heat protection needed for my garden office walls. The team were helpful and understanding of my lack of experience.

there website tells me i can have an ebook but all it is is a link to subscribe to an email. this is a trick and lie, there is no ebook, but you will have to give your first last name and email and then get marketing ads. i dont like being trick. and i dont trust this company

Hi Stephen. If you did not get the ebook by email then something must have gone wrong. Maybe check your Spam folder? I wrote the e-book so I know it exists. No tricks, no lies. The e-book is followed by six emails over a few weeks that give my advice on buying a woodburner (many years experience, installing and selling woodturners). Then it ends. That's it - end of emails. Worst company I have ever dealt with
They sent the wrong stove which meant that I missed my slot for the fitter. They promised that the courier would collect on 3 seperate occasions without turning up all the while withholding my refund. The incompetence of this company cost me time, money and a woodburner being fitted before the end of the winter. They seemed blazey about the problems they caused.

I am sorry you were delivered the wrong stove. The guy in the warehouse made a mistake, sending an Arundel instead of an Arundel XL. He was upset at his own mistake but we are all human and he is a good guy. We immediately offered to collect the stove and swap it over - usually a fast and easy solution. But you had since delivered the stove to a very remote location up a track not suitable for any delivery lorry. The situation went downhill from this moment. You have since been refunded. We wish you well.

Great service throughout, reliable, come when they say they will, explained the whole process well and answered any questions. Recommended a good stove and supplier. Very tidy on the job and took the time to talk through how to use the new stove. Overall, really pleased with the experience, can't fault the work or the communications. :)
