Bargain look great 👍 especially like the colour which flickers like real coles. The electric heaters underneath are hot when turned on. All in all a fab invention for these old fireplaces when you don't have a flu or gas. Can't believe how well it fits 😁

Does it look real? Of course not. But it's unobtrusive, especially behind a screen, and provides a warming focal point in our 1910 sitting room.

Plugs in from the front not at the side like original one therefore fire front doesn’t fit flush. Fire not as high therefore we have had to sit it on a stand. Fire glow not as bright. All in all disappointed but have no other choice other than rip out £1000.00 fire surround.

A lot of research was done as I could not find a better alternative to this appliance, and although the write up states it is only suitable for Gallery cast iron insert fireplaces it actually fits into other similar manufacturer style fireplaces, customer absolutely loves it, remote control too.
