I’m extremely disappointed and frustrated with my experience with this landlord and agency. After moving out, they are trying to take over half of my deposit for completely unfair reasons.

I called the agency and arranged for someone to collect the keys and take over the property. If they failed to send anyone on that day, that’s not my responsibility, and I shouldn’t be charged £394.52 because of their mistake.

We moved out on 24 September, and we have witnesses and neighbours who saw us cleaning the property thoroughly and leaving it in good condition. We even spent over a week cleaning and repainting the walls ourselves. The landlord claims the property wasn’t clean and is charging a cleaning fee, yet our neighbours have cameras and can confirm that no one ever came to clean, only to remove some items from the garden.

This feels like a blatant attempt to take advantage of tenants, and I find it completely unacceptable. We’ve asked for invoices to prove the charges, but none have been provided.

It’s been an exhausting and unfair experience, and I would strongly warn others to be careful before renting from them.

Sotiria has been wonderful to deal with throughout the tenancy process. She was always helpful, clear, and quick to respond, which made everything feel smooth and stress-free after our offer was agreed. I really appreciated how efficient and friendly she was — it made the whole experience much easier.

At the third time of trying, finally got the sale over the line. Stow Brothers did what they should do with regard to finding buyers and securing the best price. The sales progression system is not one that I generally like i.e. where the transaction is passed from the office to the backroom, regardless of agent. The manager Claudia D took over the case after my initial dissatisfaction and from then on, I received excellent service.

From the very beginning, Ryan demonstrated a high level of knowledge, attention to detail, and excellent communication. He provided clear, timely advice at every stage of the process and ensured we were kept well-informed throughout. Most impressively, he secured a suitable tenant within just 3 working days, a result that far exceeded our expectations!
