I had my Initial Strategy Meeting today with Pooja Patel one of the Associates.
We had a virtual meeting over teams. I was sent the link via email by her assistant Georgina Hill with all the instructions I needed.
I was nervous initially but Pooja was very welcoming and polite and immediately I felt a rapport with her, as she listened to my situation showing compassion and empathy.
Pooja took her time to explain things and gave me lots of advice and guidance to be able to negotiate with my partner, which immediately put my mind at rest. She explained the process and answered all my questions and concerns, taking her time to ensure I understood them and reassure me of my options. She also informed me that if my partner and I couldn't reach a suitable agreement with my partner, and I needed further legal help I could contact her and we would go from there.
I left the meeting feeling a lot more positive.

I've been using Stowe for the past 18 months for a divorce which has finally completed. I've been dealing with Stephanie Noel, who has been incredibly helpful, patient and compassionate. I've really appreciated her help. The overall cost has been fair and reasonable. I would recommend working with Stephanie.

However, I was initially dealing with James Looi and I did not appreciate his approach/assistance. I kept on being charged for every email and attempted phone call which was outrageous as I'm not made out of money. These charges were later removed and thankfully I did not have to work with him.

Subecca Sheikh and her team dealt the Consent Order for my daughter’s divorce. They provided excellent advice in a professional, timely and compassionate manner for what was a very emotional and difficult time. I write to recommend Stowe family Law and Ciara Pugh in particular was very diligent in her service to me throughout my divorce proceedings. She was able to help me in a myriad of ways, sometimes thinking outside the box in order to help me. Her hard work and dedication helped make it easier for me to navigate the process as a whole and I can't recommend her highly enough for her professionalism and attention to details.

I regret ever instructing this company. I paid for a service, but the solicitor went against my clear written instructions and is now trying to charge me for work I did not authorise. The matter is in dispute, and I will be escalating it to the Legal Ombudsman.

What is most concerning is that the firm is refusing to take responsibility, despite me having everything documented in writing. I was also advised that I could use an ad-hoc service, which has turned out not to be the case. Based on my experience, I would strongly advise others to think very carefully before using this company.
