In 2024, Contractors attended my Peabody property to repair a shower tap. During the works, my property was flooded. Following inspection, the company reported that the flooring damage was pre-existing, which I strongly disagreed with. The incident caused significant distress and unresolved damage. I encourage clearer handling of damage assessments for tenants.

Travelled 3 hours to their office from Hertfordshire. After being interviewed by Rhys I was offered a mult trade position. Since then he has completely blanked all my calls . On looking at some of his reviews I think I’ve dodged a bullet. Completely unprofessional. If this is how he treat people then I wouldn’t trust this company to build a Wendy house let alone anything else . Avoid this lot like the plague if I were you.

Cowboy company, not fit for purpose. Had this company around to lay a vinyl wet room floor. They cut the vinyl where it shouldn't be cut. Absolutely destroyed my wet room! Please see my Google review of this cowboy company as it has pictures of there half done botch job!

They came out to assess what was wrong with the boiler and was advised that the boiler should be replaced. Although they answered the phone every time I called after the visit, they just took a message for someone to call back. I was left without a working boiler and I got another firm to install a boiler before they could get back to me to say they couldn't install a boiler for 3 weeks. Not what you needed just before the big freeze came

The work colleague who came to repair the hinges on my kitchen units was extremely well mannered, polite and super efficient. He was friendly and told me he came from South Africa. A very pleasant young man and the service was excellent. I cannot praise him and his company enough.

Friends had work carried out by Stride plumbing & heating ltd .
They gave a competitive quote which was in line with other quotations I had obtained, very pleased with the result , as in most cases the odd problem was resolved with out any problem,The work was carried out as quoted for,

Stride Plumbing recently stepped in to remediate some poor workmanship I had experienced from a builder. An entire shower unit had to be dismantled due to leaks and damp and rebuilt from scratch. The work is excellent and I found their communication to be very clear and responsive.

I needed my existing gravity-fed system replaced and boiler relocated as it gave me low pressure through out the house. I’m very pleased with the work carried out by Rhys, not only was the work done to the highest standard with minimal disruption, he was very professional and explained everything to us clearly as well as addressed any concerns we had. The work was exceptional and everything was clearly labelled from pipework to levers, making it easy to identify.
All you want is a tradesperson to be honest and trustworthy and this is what we got from Stride Plumbling. At the end of each day, everything was cleaned up and left tidy. I would definitely use them again and would not hesitate to recommend Rhys and Stride Plumbing to anyone who needs their services.

We wanted to refurbish a toilet and used My Builder to circulate details of the work. Stride Plumbing and Heating responded and the experience has been faultless. Communication, from Emily, has been first rate throughout and the work carried out by Rhys was excellent. Although only a relatively small job (and experience has shown that many contractors are not interested in such work) he fitted us in around his existing schedule, gave advice on design options, was reliable and punctual and carried out the work to a very high standard. It was clear that he wanted us to be entirely happy with the work and we are delighted with the outcome. Highly recommended.

Just had my old boiler and hot water cylinder replaced with a Worcester Bosch combi boiler.
The whole process from getting a quote to completion of the work was faultless.
The quality of the work was second to none. Very neat and tidy.
Communication throughout was good.
I will certainly be recommending Stride Plumbing and Heating whenever I get the opportunity.

I moved home and had an issue with poor water pressure. Rhys solved the issue with out the need to re pipe the house. I now have a lovely new shower and taps with better pressure thank you!

I had new Central Heating System installed to replace and old Warm Gas Heating. I reached out to Stride Plumbing & Heating Ltd, plus 2 other companies. Right from the outset, I was impressed when they came for a quote. They arrived in time, reviewed the house and advised me of the required radiators, boiler etc which promptly followed by a written quote. An installation date was agreed and they carried out the work to highest standard, cleaning up as they went along. Once the system was installed we met and they answered all my questions and explained all the features of the boiler and the thermostat control. Rhys and Alfie have done an excellent job of replacing our heating system as part of a house remodelling project. They were both very professional and the quality of the work is excellent. Highly recommended.

I had a leak in my airing cupboard and Stride Heating quickly assessed the problem, ordered a new pump for the shower and fitted it without any problems. They were professional, polite and clean.
