We had a great day out, watching the Torbay air display.
The staff were all friendly and helpful. This is the 4th year we’ve done it. And will hopefully return next year.

Good trip, good skipper with a sense of humour. Great value for money. Obviously if the tide is out it somewhat limits the scope of the cruise.
A fantastic day out at the Torbay Air Show. Great weather - saw a vast pod of Dolphins on the way and there was enough time to stop and watch them for a while before continuing on. Had a great spot to view the air displays - nothing like having The Red Arrows and the Typhoon flying directly overhead! Very friendly helpful staff on board
The weather was superb as we embarked the Pride of Exmouth for the cruise to Torbay for the Airshow on May 30th 2026.
The sea was calm with the temperatures hot We had good seats with 180 panaromic views. As well as an amazing show of four hours Red arrows,Merlin Helicopters,Spitfires and Typhoons we had a Birds eye view of forty five minutes with dancing dolphins and flying tuna the best display ever seen in recent years by the boat crew. They were aubergine in the care of their sailors with delighful and helpful commentary and waitresssercixw for all drinks at reasonable prices. And the cost a mere £25 per head.We look forward to the Dartmouth regaate trip in August
A really rewarding morning on Stuart Line Cruises from Exmouth and up the River Exe.
On a very sunny day, sights of the river, birds, sand banks, hills, and villages, with a commentary which was helpful and not intrusive.
Ice cream and refreshments can be bought on board.
From booking the tickets in the office the day before, which were very good value, to the experience on board, everything was done in a friendly and efficient way.

The whole trip from start to finish was well organised and enjoyable. The boat was easy to access. The service of drinks and snacks was an added bonus. We did the river trip which was very interesting and scenic. The staff on board were lovely

A well organised trip with helpful staff. Sailing along a very interesting and picturesque route was a great experience. Probably not so for the drivers stuck at the Ex Bridges!

Having recently enjoyed a fabulous day trip to Brixham for the Pirate weekend.
I thought I should say, what a fantastic trip, lovely cruise on spotless boat, with a fantastic crew, along the lovely South Devon coastline.
A good few hours at Brixham.
Where else would you get a days excursion for such a reasonable cost.
We've had many trips with Stuart Line Cruises and many more planned in the future.
Anyone that hasn't experienced a day out or a trip with this local family business. I'd highly recommend 👌 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟

Very friendly and helpful staff, have used several times and while on the boat, the skipper is very knowledgeable giving information on the local area, scenery and the local wildlife. Family and pet friendly

Exeter Canal Cruise, 01/10/25.
If Stuart Lines had been helpful and provided some form of transport from the original advertised start point it would have shown some customer care for passengers not familiar with the area instead of sending revised emails with inadequate information so near the start time(walking miles distance, option 1, second email).
I prefer to use Trustpilot.
If you had taken the time to read my review it clearly stated the start point alteration not the end !
The information messaged to me was a 5 minute walk,( from Exeter Quay to the other side of the Countess Wear Road bridge on the A379)

Went on the Cream Tea River Cruise on 21st April 2025 - just £14 each and well worth it. Jake, Dave and Isaac were a great crew and really looked after everyone. Excellent trip, lovely experience, dogs allowed which was a huge bonus, cream tea was lush. On board bar/coffee/refreshments very reasonably priced. Had a great time, would definitely recommend.
I would advise anybody wanting a leisurely view of the coast to take this boat trip. The captain gives a really interesting and informative commentary, and the crew members are great. Value for money most definitely.
We went on the Brixham Pirate Festival cruise and it was absolutely brilliant. The boat was well stocked with a range of snacks and drinks (including lots of gluten free snacks, which as a coeliac made life really easy). The staff were all super friendly and helpful. The announcements had lots of interesting facts about the area.
We were very lucky to have smooth seas and to see a pod of dolphins on the way back, for which they let us just watch them for a while.
Just wanted to say a BIG THANK YOU for a really great time at the Bird Cruise yesterday, well organised, an engaging team and a excellent Bird expert who gave a great comentary throughout the cruise.
Thanks and well done again
Wife and I were having a few days break in the Topsham area. Booked up, online, for river trip from Topsham and return train trip. All could not have been better organized. Great river trip. Skipper gave very short infirmative talks on items of interest. The two young crew members knew their job and were very smartly dressed. The youngest was apparently on work experience. Well turned out a credit to the team. After the trip we called into the local cruise line office for some local knowledge. All smart and a great help. Well done all. Thankyou
A coach load of us went on a cruise including a cream tea with Stuart lines, the cruise was just about average but the cream tea was great prepare by Sheila the office lady standing in to help she was a star, if the rest of the business had been as good it would have been 5 stars.
Thank you Sheila for rescuing our trip.
I booked Stuart Line Cruises day trip from Exmouth to Sidmouth on 4th August 2021 for myself, my wife and my two children. We where dropped off in Sidmouth and told to be back at the boat by 3.45pm. My daughter had an asthma attack so I went ahead and got on board and asked them to wait. Jake the captain waited 5 minutes and just as my family arrived on the very short beach the ship pulled away, even though the captain could clearly eee my family arriving. Jake was completely unsympathetic and basically said tough luck. I complained in the Exmouth office and was told Jake had claimed the boat left 10 minutes late - this is untrue - it was 5 minutes. It was very upsetting seeing my daughter crying on the shore literally 10 metres away from me and I would urge anyone with children not to use this service, especially if they have asthma.
