Stubbers Adventure Centre Reviews 

In 2005 I started volunteering at Stubbers is an outdoor adventure centre in Essex where we do activities ranging from Sailing to quad biking to abseiling my role is to assist on sessions
I have gained a lot of qualifications such us
My Powerboat,Jetski,Quad bike licences
Being Disabled I feel Stubbers took a risk with my volunteering in that environment but the staff are so warm and supportive and friends for life
I was also a youth worker for 14years at an inclusive youth club and we used to have our annual residential and the staff could not be more accommodating so I have been and seen both sides and could not recommend them enough and proud to call them friends as well as colleagues.

We've celebrated our son's birthday with a laser tag party which was really good but the party food was of very poor quality: sandwiches made with poor quality bread, ham & cheese. Also the dessert wasn't good either, cheap jelly. The kids hardly ate the food, because they didn't like it and that made me feel really guilty. Won't recommend the party food!!!

Stubbers is an excellent Adventure centre for adults and children. highly recommend it.

I have always found Stubbers staff very helpful and they have a wide range of activities. I have no reservations of reccomending this company.

Excellent value for my money. It’s the only place my son wants to in the holidays

Our first chice for a multi activity centre in our area. Best choice of activities and my child said that you get the most time per activity at Stubbers. The other centres do not give you sufficient time per activity. My child has done 2 residentials even though we are in driving distance. She loves it. Her only small critism last year was tents were too chilly as we managed to go in a cold wet August week. Would love them to be wooden dorms/ chalets

We have been back many times over the years and Stubbers has been consistently good at providing challenging adventures that grow and develop skills, confidence and self esteem. Staff are fantastic from the top down. Stubbers is a wonderful, safe learning environment and has been a significant part of my children's lives.

Both my kids love it here, best bit they can't take their mobiles with them, gives their eyes a rest!

Excellent. My grandchildren thoroughly enjoyed the day apart from one of them being nervous on the banana boat!

My son loves going to Smash Camps during school holidays. He’s now of the age that he’d prefer a week there than spending it with his mummy 😳😢

Complete confidence in the commitment of the teams my grandson enjoyed every minute.Cant wait to come back for part 2.

My daughter loved going. Well organised and plenty of activities - she can't wait to go back.

The time management could be better during activities for the kids. My daughter only got one go on the jet ski where the other children got two or more turns each. As this is a centre mainly based to cater for children the staff seemed to be not engaging with the kids much, this should definitely be addressed.

Every time we’ve been to Stubbers we’ve all had a marvellous time. Great value for money.

My daughter has attended numerous activity days during school holidays she has always had a fantastic time and I feel she is having fun outdoors
Learning new skills and improving her confidence

While the kids had a fun time out the the field the restaurant experience was bad. I had ordered sandwich meal packs for the party and one of the kids was allergic to cheese I ask the restaurant to swap it and they told me they can’t and I wild have to pay for another. Despite the restaurant being empty they won’t allow the kids have their lunch there so we had to sit out in the cold.

A great and safe place for children to try different types of physical activites.

The staff are brilliant with the kids and they will happily help you look if your kids have lost something. The kids look forward to the activities and have lots of fun.

Great place for a birthday party (or day out) with a difference! My daughter loved her rifle shooting party and the team were very accommodating, Thank you!
