Don't trust these guys and don't rent anything from them.
They tried to sting me for everything , grip wear , hub wear(utter Bull dust) rim damage, spoke damage... etc
I ended up paying for a portion just to get them off my back... Do not use these guys.
I certainly rebuke the idea that I don't treat my equipment well.
The bike had been fully serviced by the shop that it was rented through so if it was not up to par then the discussion perhaps should have been with them not me .
As for rim damage.....if you guys actually ride bikes you might have a better understanding.
Absolute fraudsters masquerading as a viable company.

Rented a bike, I was also told it was also rent to buy. I’m now out of pocket $5,000 as I was paying it of and, when speaking to this company I was told that they don’t rent to buy so bad luck. I was told that I would have to pay another $5,000 on top to own it. Bike is not worth that much new. It is a scam and nothing can be done as they don’t care. Don’t do it if you want to own it after.
I am on my third rental from Studio19. This is an easy and effective way to help young muso’s pay off music equipment without having to hand out big money at one time. You rent for a minimum of 6 months (you can return it within that timeframe) and ask to pay out the item within anytime of I think 3 years? I brought a $2300 dollar guitar and by 24 months all I had to pay upfront was $32, after paying roughly $45 a month.
My rating is based on the transparency of their dealings. I was told it was a rent to buy scheme which I thought was excellent value, but it's simply a rental scheme. Honestly if I had been told it was a rental, the outcome would be the same, I'd still have my drum kit.
When trying to complain I was told there was no recorded line and way to verify that their rep had been unscrupulous therefore boo hoo you should have read the fine print. Fair play but I think for a service offering a financial service this is an interesting tactic.
I wouldn't recommend them and I don't trust them so it's a 1.
