It drives me mad when it starts buffering and you have to stop what you are watching. The worst part is restarting the programme which goes back to the beginning and you have your go through all the adverts again. Very frustrating if you are watching a series.

Very poor service for Scotland why can't I just watch itv. Stv player doesn't work unless you have super fast broadband.

Buffering. Not playing the programme you want to watch. Links either broken or nonexistent.

really terrible, constant freezing and buffering. Don't have trouble with any other channels or apps

I live in Scotland so when I go on ITVX I’m told to go to STV Player. Dreadful, stopping at the adverts, will only show first four episodes on the line-up and I spend ages trying to get to episodes 5 and six. That’s when it doesn’t want me on series 5 but rather 4 grrrrr NIGHTMARE. Why can’t we watch on ITVX? Netflix and Prime don’t redirect you elsewhere because you live in Scotland or indeed BBC Iplayer. WHY?!!!???

Utter garbage!!! I'm so fed up sitting down to watch a series and I'll get through an episode or two only for it to stall in the ad breaks and take me back to the start?!?! Wtf?? Happened when watching the bay, took me 20 minutes before I realised I'd watched the same episode three times!!! Restarted it again and again, and now sitting down to watch unforgotten and goes to an ad breaks....same bloody thing, took me back to home screen and no "continue watching" as it hadn't registered I'd started watching it all so I've now restarted the whole series AGAIN!!! total waste of time, I feel like I could step into some of the roles myself now as I've seen the same bloody parts over and over. Get it sorted!!! Only happens on stv player and itvx none of the other channels have these issues. It's so frustrating

Useless. I don’t usually use the STV player but forced to use it to watch the Wales v Italy 6 nations match. It refuses to play live so I am now forced to watch the whole thing including all the pre match chat. Begs the question, how do they compete with better platforms like iPlayer etc.?

It does not work! Played the lads talking about the match, went to ads and it crashed. 30 minutes later it will not stream the football. Not the first time this has happened

Great programmes but the sound is really bad. Reset all my sound settings but still could not follow the dialogue on most programmes.

Awful, every time you pause it can't play again, gets stuck, if you go out and go in again and select resume (not restart) it restarts from the beginning, and forces you to watch every set of adverts again to get to the pointyou left. Too many ads, too many times.

Why does STV player on a television, not give the option to play live TV

Continually stops, continually repeats adverts, does not remember point at which programme stops therefore starts from the beginning. AGAIN REPEATING THE adverts. APPALLING SERVICE - EVERY TIME

STV player is an absolutely useless streaming service, constantly crashing and making viewing infuriatingly impossible more often than not. Why is this still happening after so many years?

Constantly crashes. Such a shame as I would love to watch some of the shows available.

Awful. Absolutely terrible.

All my tv apps work perfectly as do my phone apps, so my tv, my phone and my WiFi is not a problem but I can never get anything on itv player it just whirls round in circles and does nothing.
Being in Scotland I can't get the soaps on itvx. Basically rubbish.

I watch Emmerdale, but occasionally I miss the slot and have to use the STV Player. But I cannot get to the episode that was on that night, it goes to the last one I watched on STV Player.
Eg. Tonight I wanted to watch 26/12 but had to click through all the episodes from October.
Surely there is a easier way????

STV Player has some great programmes, but its spoilt by the the fact it ALWAYS hangs constantly and you you have re-start the programme. It then restarts from the beginnining and've received then hangs again when you try to get to the original position. I've reduced my viewing significantly over the last few months as its REALLY annoying. This has been happenng for YEARS and they can't fix it. Nne of the other channels have this issue.
