I've had SugarSync for many years now but hadn't made any modifications or changes since 2012. I needed a refresh and to address the changes I needed. Luis was great in understanding my situation, what I had and what I needed to have SugarSync be more effective for me. He was very understanding and was able to make suggestions as to how to better utilize the capabilities of the application. If I have an issue again, hopefully I'll get Luis on the phone again. The cost was definitely worth it.

I’ve been using this service for all my work product/files since 2010! Even also for my life files. My only wish is that it could handle macro enabled files.

I chose this company for my cloud storage over 10 years ago. Have been satisfied all this time. It's easy to use, simple, clear. I researched the safety technology at the time and felt confident sugarsync was excellent. I hope they still are doing well on that score.

I had an exceptional experience working with Louis M. Louis was was extremely knowledgeable and very helpful with my needs. He was also patient and stuck with me through the whole update of my purchase of Sugar Sync. Louis is what I call a fabulous professional that we need many more of. I have paid for Sugarsync for several years but never really used it, having access to other cloud storage, but never had a problem with its technology. Though I have missed the cancellation deadline in prior years, I planned to cancel this year in advance of the annual renewal which I did. I received an email acknowledging the cancellation (but did not read it closely until after I was charged again for another year. It did say that I was cancelling effective Dec 2024!). The company was not responsive to my complaint of this additional year of charge for zero service (I have deleted my files and account). Do I believe this is an ethical company????

SugarSync is an outstanding product that allows me access to my office from anywhere at anytime. I highly recommend this product because it is user friendly and gives me quick access to my office at the touch of a button. In addition, SugarSync is reasonably priced.

This is an excellent company where customer service is a top priority. I have used it for around 15 years but due to a change of circumstances I no longer needed their services and wrote to cancel my subscription. My email did not reach them in time and they automatically deducted the annual fee from my bank. However, when I contacted their customer service department I received a very prompt response by their employee Luis who resolved the matter and issued a refund. I received understanding and service that I have never seen before from a large company. Thank you Sugarsync!

On the rare occasion that help is needed, the support is first class, often initially using their ‘bot’ to try to give an answer based on your question. Either way, the ‘bot’ is very fast, but a human follow up isn’t far behind. Highly recommended. My only reservation on this occasion, is that my first attempt to get help was ignored after the ‘bot’ suggestions didn’t help. On my second attempt to get human intervention it was like my previous experiences. Everyone has an off day, perhaps my first attempt was on one of these. Because of this I dropped from 5 to 4 stars. If I could I would have made it 4 ½ stars.

SugarSync has been a life saver many times! For me it has worked flawlessly, and the couple of times I have had an issue, their first-rate Customer Service has been on-the-spot with help and a quick resolution. The fact that I can access my files from anywhere with any of my devices makes it a game-changer!

I have a suggestion for you. Please set your search up so that is more sensitive. Unless I know the exact final name it will not bring it up. Perhaps you can allow it to bring up everything it has when you insert the first word. That would make it so much easier to find things. Thank you so much

Speed of page turning on the website is not so good, needs to be improved.
Language service is relatively good, especially in Japanese site, but support needs to be more enhanced, when any problem occurs oveseas, for example, I want to have more details about procedures, techniques, progress, in real time.

Their pricing makes zero sense.

$189 for 500GB, or $400 for 1TB. Are they stupid?

The syncing works flawlessly in the background, and I have access to my documents right on my phone. Customer service reps answer quickly and are knowledgeable and helpful.

Thanks for your good service and program. I was wondering, if you could develop a Linux (Ubuntu) based version as well, since I like to work on a Linux system

I've been using SugarSync since 2010. Overall I'm very pleased with the results. I'd say it syncs files accurately to my 3 systems 95% of the time.

My biggest issue is there's no error reporting or warnings when it can't sync files.

I was told that the total number of files makes SS less reliable, even if you're within your storage limits.

To make sure my files are properly being synced, I backup to an external drive 3 times a week and compare the external backup to my 3 systems using SugarSync.

Rarely, I'll discover that one system is missing files, possibly because SS crashed or the indexing got corrupted, etc.

The 2 features I'd like added are:
(1) support for users with a lot of files and
(2) an error reporting system so SS alerts you when it's crashed or has conflicting sync files, or other errors.

Transferring to a new computer I had difficulties with SugarSync. I find SugarSync itself to be complex and sometimes opaque, but Paulo was responsive and incredibly patient and now everything is running as it should.

The thing that stood out to me was that Paulo really took the time to look into my actual account and saw what the issue was. Paulo communicated the solution to me, which was very easy to resolve. This action saved me $$$$ as I didn't need to purchase additional storage!!!!! Paulo could have just let me purchase the additional storage and make $$$$ for SugarSync!!!!

I've had a nagging problem with synchronizing (actually, merging) two Macbooks where I cloned the older one onto the newer one, but want to still use both, with mirrored hard drives. I called technical support when I saw the FAQs really wouldn't help this complex problem. I immediately reached Luis M who was brilliant, patient, limitlessly helpful and man-o-man does he know his stuff. He walked me through a very complex process and I am incredibly thankful. I've had SugarSync for over a decade, and this technical support was worth every penny I've spent over that time. WOW. THANKS.
